Chapter 5 I Am Your Newly Wedded Wife

Kayla walked up to Rebecca and disdainfully tugged at the latter’s clothes with the tips of her fingers.

“What are you wearing? Did you come from the past?”

The fabric and style looked even worse than the aprons in their home.

Rebecca pushed her glasses, her shimmering eyes giving off an intimidating aura.

When Kayla met Rebecca’s gaze, she was surprised to find herself terrified.

“W-What’s with that look? I’m telling you, I’m the second young lady in this house. You’d better watch your manners around me.”

“H-Husband?” Kayla was shocked, but she quickly sneered. “What a shameless woman you are! You’re so ugly, yet you dare call Levi your husband! You’re making me throw up.”

Rebecca could see that Kayla harbored something more than familial love toward Levi. There was jealousy in Kayla’s eyes.

Rebecca raised her eyebrow on purpose, smiling gently as she suddenly took Levi’s arm.

“So what? According to our marriage certificate, he is my husband. Sorry, but please leave right now. Don’t disturb me and my husband from resting.”

Levi scoffed. She sounded as if she were all that.

“What can you do to me?”

“I can cure you. Your leg isn’t afflicted by normal paralysis.”

After her examination just now, she found that Levi’s legs were gradually stiffening. Within three months, his legs might even have to be amputated.

Levi frowned. “What do you mean?”
