The Last White Wolf
Chapter 17

Thalia POV

11:00 am

Ares kissed me down my neck when he suddenly pulled away from me. Confusion flashed over me… Did I do something wrong? Why did he pull away? Negative thoughts came rushing through me. “What is wrong,” I asked trying to catch my breath. “My father needs me in my office…” he sighed heavily. “No!” Chioni whined inside my head “He can’t leave!” she growled loudly letting the growl escape my lips and momentarily taking control and pulling Ares back into the bed kissing him deeply. “Do you really need to go?” I asked against his lips, hoping he will change his mind. “Yes, ο άγγελός μου (my angel). I won’t be long, I promise.” He swore while kissing my cheek softly.

I sat up in the bed covering myself with the sheet while Ares grabbed his shirt from the floor and pulling it over his head. “Stay in the room, and don’t open the door for anyone except me,” he said kissing me again. He turned around leaving and closing the door behind him firmly, leaving me alone.

I fell back on to the bed with a deep sigh. I hope he comes back soon… I got up from the bed with another deep sigh going into the bathroom to take a cold shower, trying to distract myself.

Once I was done showering, I dressed in grey leggings and one of Ares’ t-shirts, sniffing the shirt before pulling it over my head. His shirt was way too big for me, covering my thighs. I ran my brush through my hair, tying my hair in a high ponytail. I flopped back onto the bed, checking the time on my phone… only 11:15 am… How long is Ares going to stay away… I miss him…

Googling random stuff on my phone, trying to pass the time until Ares returns. A sound came from the door and I sat up instantly, completely excited, thinking that Ares might have returned.

The bedroom door slowly creaked open while a blonde head popped into the room. “Ah, there you are,” the woman said, slipping her whole body into the room and closing the door quietly behind her.

I gawked at this unfamiliar blonde woman. She was a bit taller than me and definitely more fit than me.

“Who are you? And are you doing here?” I asked her, feeling a bit uncomfortable, while Chioni lurked in my mind. “That is not of importance to you.” She hissed “The only thing that matters is how this is going to play out… You…” she said with an evil smile moving toward me “You will either come with me quietly or…” she cracked her knuckles “I will make you quite.” She threatened

Chioni immediately came forward trying to shift us into my wolf form when the blonde jumped me, grabbing my one arm. My claws extracted and I sliced her skin on her face letting droplets of blood oosed out of her skin. “Bitch!” she cried out while she threw me across the room. She caught me off guard and she was definitely trained in combat unlike me…

My body crashed into Ares’ bookshelf, letting books fall over the floor and on top of me. My whole body was shaking from the rush of adrenaline and before I could stand up from the floor the blonde grabbed me by my ponytail. A small whine escaped my mouth, from the force she is pulling my hair at. “You will regret doing that to me!” she hissed, tugging my hair again, before throwing me against the wall, letting a few of ornaments fall, shattering, on the floor.

A metal tastes filled my mouth while I felt a small amount of my blood escaping my mouth and nose, I tried to stand up, but my feet betrayed me, and I fell back down to the floor. Glass of the shattered ornaments cutting my hands and legs deeply.

My vision was still blurry when I heard the clanking of heals against the floor, approaching me. The blonde grabbed me by my throat squeezing tightly “Now!” She hissed again “Sleep tight! Bitch!” she growled while a felt a sharp object entering my skin on my neck. My whole body was burning with pain, almost like she injected me with liquid fire, making my veins burn out of agony. A faint cry escaped my lips while everything around me disappeared into blackened darkness.

I started to feel ‘awake’, but unable to open my eyes or move my body… Everything inside me was still burning like a hot fire. Trying to keep my breathing steady I noticed that both my wrists are restrained by something cold… but it is also burning my skin, making me feel weak. The air is dusty, almost making me choke.

My ears picked up movement, a door opening and footsteps.

“Alpha Kakós,” a female voice filled the room. “Welcome.” I recognized the voice as the blonde who attacked me. Heavy footsteps filled my ears and I could feel the presence of someone staring at me. “Why is she sleeping?” the man asked… his cold and emotionless voice filling the room. “I-I uh… had to use wolfsbane to restrain her, Alpha.” She muttered, clearly afraid of him. “Who instructed you to give her wolfsbane?” he roared “L-luna Aphrodite, alpha. S-she said to use all means necessary to get her here.” She explained. Aphrodite? Ares’ mother… why would she do this to me? Does she hate me that much?

“Well she was wrong” he roared again, snapping me out of my thoughts. “Now I will have to wait for the wolfsbane to leave her system before I can continue the ritual. Do you know how long it takes for wolfsbane to leave the system of a wolf, pup?” he asked her coldly “N-no Alpha” she muttered, “12 fucking hours!” he shouted… but still no trace of emotion in his voice “I will have to wait 12 hours because of you and that stupid brat of a daughter I have!” he growled hearing him move around the room. “I-I, I’m sorr-…” “Oh shut the fuck up!” he snarled.

The room fell silent and a few moments passed when the stillness was broken by Alpha Kakós cold voice “She’s here” he grumbled. I heard him walking over and opening a door, letting fresh air, entering the room.

“Hello daughter” his cold voice filled the room again. “Father” I heard a new voice, almost sounding like Aphrodite, anger rising slowly inside me…

“Chioni? Are you there? I need your help!” I pleaded, trying to contact my wolf… silence filled my head.

“Sources told me that you have created quite a mess in The Royal Silver Moon Pack,” Alpha Kakós said coldly “It is all temporary… Soon everything will be under control” Aphrodite answered. “I hope so for your sake. You have four angry Alphas out for your head and that is not including your daughter, Athena.” “Ares! Please help me” I cried out, trying to mind link, Ares…

“That mutt is NOT an Alpha!” Aphrodite grumbled “You are still acting like a spoiled brat. I would have thought you have outgrown this childish behaviour.” Alpha Kakós paused “His father is an Alpha, so that makes him an Alpha.” “My sons will not harm me… I have control of Apollo’s mind!” What? She is controlling Apollo’s mind. “Apollo” Alpha Kakós laughed coldly “He is the mutt who told them about your plans, Aphrodite! And after this Ares will surely have your head if he ever finds you.” He thundered. “Well, at least you did one thing right.” Alpha Kakós said while I heard him walking closer to me. “You have at least successfully captured the last white wolf,” he said coldly. Shivers ran through me… What does he want with me? What is so important about me?

“But,” he hissed almost sounding angry “You and this stupid mutt had to go and give her wolfsbane!” he shouted. “Father, I only tried to do what was right.” She almost begged. “You are a stupid bitch!” he shouted, “You remember what happened to your mother and brothers when they acted out of stupidity, Aphrodite?” Alpha Kakós growled “Yes father… I will not disappoint you again. Please forgive me.” “You only get one chance, Aphrodite… use it well” he hissed.

A phone ringed in the background while I heard the blonde answering it and muttering. “A-alpha Kakós, my luna… I-I’m sorry, but we have to move… they found us.” She said a few seconds later

“Aphrodite, you and this mutt go and lead them off, I will take care of the white wolf.” He ordered “Yes father,” Aphrodite said while I heard the door opening “Oh and Aphrodite…” “Yes father” “Don’t bother coming back if you disappoint me again…” he remarked coldly.

I heard footsteps and the door closed again. “Well, little wolf… it’s time to go.” Alpha Kakós hissed near my ear making me shiver again. He started to loosen the restraints from my hand while I still kept my eyes closed.

“Thalia!!” Chioni’s voiced filled my head. “Give me control Thalia! I will get us out of here and back to our mate!” she promised. I gave Chioni full control and my eyes flew open taking in the room.

I was in a cabin of sorts and Alpha Kakós, a tall old man with white hair was standing with his back turned to us, checking something on his phone.

While Chioni was in control of my body, it felt weird. It was taking a back seat in your mind. Seeing and feeling everything, but not able to control anything.

I felt my body getting up from the wooden chair where I was tied up. Alpha Kakós spun around giving me a cold and deadly stair “Where do you think you are going” he hissed at me “I’m taking my human to safety… far away from you Abaddon.” Chioni hissed. “The only thing that is going to happen is that I’m going to enjoy eating your heart! Your still weak pup.” he said chuckling evilly.

“I still remember… 200 years ago… I saw through the eyes of my human how your father’s pack killed my pack and my family… and then finally your father killed my human… Penelope was only a child…” Chioni cried out angrily.

Abaddon gave me an evil smirk “I should have known that wolfsbane would leave your system quicker… your kind has always been much stronger than the average wolf.” He groaned “But that only means that I get to kill you sooner,” he said moving closer to me.

I felt my claws extracting when Abaddon punched me letting me fall to the ground “I’m stronger than you little girl!” Abaddon hissed, “Well I’m angrier!!” Chioni screamed while shifting into my wolf form underneath him. Chioni started to snap at Abaddon’s neck when he pushed him off my wolf and shifted into his own wolf.

Abaddon’s wolf clearly showed his age. The wolf was tawny brown with a black/grey face and patches over his body. His cold grey eyes stared at me while he snarled.

Abaddon’s wolf charged at me, biting into my neck while his sharp claws scratched at my stomach. Sharp pains shot through me while Chioni jumped away and biting hard into Abaddon’s neck. Abaddon started to shriek while blood spilled out of the bitemark. He tried to overpower me again, ripping his skin out of my mouth and sinking his k-nines into my stomach, making me yelp out of pain.

Abaddon ripped fur and skin from my body, making me bleed heavily. Chioni pulled herself from underneath him clutching his throat in my jaw, biting down hard before ripping his throat out. Abaddon whined while blood gushed out of his ripped throat.

Chioni moved away from Abaddon. Whimpers escaping my mouth when we fell to the floor. Blood, still flowing from my stomach. “I-I can’t h-heal….” Chioni’s voice faded while I painfully shifted back into my human form. I laid on the floor while I gripped my stomach in the hope to stop some of the bleedings.

I painfully looked over to Abaddon, seeing his faded eyes. “He’s dead…” I whispered to myself before cold darkness came over me… feeling that I was starting to fade away…
