“I saw her today.”
“You saw her?” I gave him a curious expression. “At your company?”
“No,” he answered. “I went to the park to get some time alone and the little children playing with themselves. And when I was about to leave, that monster came out of nowhere and tapped me.
“Hold on, hold on.” I sat properly, my eyes fixed on Luke. “Let me get things straight around here. Ariel came to meet you as she approached you. I mean, she walked up
to you.
“Yes, she did that. I didn’t even know where the witch came from, but trust me, I was
not happy seeing her.”
“Well, you shouldn’t be.”
“Yeah, I know. You don’t have to tell me,” he whispered, shooting me a plastic smile. I shrugged, and he continued, “Anyway, she was talking badly about you, and it was really irritating.”

“She’s always irritating.” I agreed with the last part. “So, what did you do?”
“Well, I kind of strangled her.”
“You did what now?” My eyes widened right away. “You killed her? Is that why your were looking depressed?”
