“I know she is a girl but with how worried she is I’m surprised she is taking this long,” He thought aloud as he walked to Lucy’s room.

He was about to knock…right when…

“HELP!”

“LUCY!” He yelled, kicking the door open as he continue to hear Lucy’s screams.

“Lucy I’m here…But you aren’t,” He said as he step into the empty room that echoed Lucy’s screams.

“Clever girl,” He smiled noticing the shining pink gem under the door.

He eyed the room for more clues, but couldn’t focus and felt like he was going insane if he continue to hear the room echoing her cries and screams.

“I need to get out of here,” He admitted as he spotted a notepad on the window sill.

He leans against the hallway wall reading what was written.

“I’m here,” Marcus announced, throwing Lucy into the ballroom of Raven’s castle.

“Finally took you long enough,” Jackie replied, entering the room.

“We told you, Raven, always get what he wants and this whole thing was to get you and possibly the Heart gems too. He is obsessed with you for some reason,” Jackie explained as she sharpen a knife.

“We are just minions he used to do his dirty work. we don’t know why he is obsessed with both sides of you,” Marcus added.

“Both sides of me how does he know I experience the darkness?”

“Our master got eyes and ears everywhere, anyway, let’s cut the chit-chat we need Dark Lucy right now not you.”

“That is true, but right now he wants the helpful you, so bring Dark Lucy out now!” Jackie demanded poking Lucy in the rips with the knife handle.

“She can’t hear you stupid, I slam her head a little too much before you arrived,” Jackie said as she pulled the girl away.

“YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!” Lucy screamed, while her eyes glowed red.

No, I can control it, I’m in control. “See, I told you I can control it,” Lucy said as her eyes turn Ice blue.

“Well, let’s see if you can still control it after I do this,” Jackie threaten as she jammed the sharp knife into Lucy’s stitched arm.

“Ugh,” Lucy groaned as her eyes flicked Red as she watch the stitches torn against the blade.

She ripped the rope. “I’m really getting sick of you witches!” She roared, grabbing the twins by the throat.

“LET THEM GO!” Raven demanded, entering the scene.

“And who are you?” Dark Lucy asked, dropping the twins, and letting them crash against the marble flooring.

“Oh, thank you Raven for coming,” Marcus said as he allow air back into his lungs.

“It is master to you!”

“Yes thank you, master,” Jackie added leaning against the wall, catching her breath.

“Hello Dark Lucy, I am Raven and you work for me now,” He stated as he sat on the throne that was placed in the back of the room.

He look in his 30s, his gray hair was slick back, his skin look like snow, He wore a black suit with a cape made of shining black feathers. His bloody red eyes were the first terrified part of him. The second being his armor he worn metal gloves that grew spikes like a cat would grow claws.

“You are wrong I only work for myself.” Dark Lucy snarled.

“That is going to change—”

“And how is that going to happen!” She growled.

“Well, you haven’t met your match yet,” Raven informed chanting a spell as he waved his hand in her direction.

“A-a-a-ahh! What did you do to me!” Dark ones can’t feel pain only the host can!”

Lucy’s eyes flick to ice blue as she fell to the ground in agony.

“H—unter…” Lucy groaned, smiling.

“Shouldn’t we stop him, Master?” Jackie asked.

“Yes Master,” The twins said as they teleported away.

“Thanks,” She said as He help her up.

“Anytime, are you ok, and have you found Rose?”

“WHO CARES!” She growled, flipping him over as her eyes became red.

“ENOUGH OF THAT DARK LUCY!” Raven growled, chanting.

Lucy let out a blood-curdling scream, while she crash to the floor as her eyes grew pitch black.

“LUCY! WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HER!” Hunter snapped teleporting to where she curled into herself.

“Lucy come here and give me that lovely gem of yours.”

She shoved Hunter away as she follow Raven’s orders.

“LUCY! NO DON’T—HE DOESN’T CONTROL YOU!” Hunter shouted, grabbing her wrist.

“Lucy, stop worrying about your boyfriend and give me your gem.”

She ripped Hunter’s hand away as she turned toward Raven, slowly pulling her gem off.

“NO!” She yelled, gluing her feet to the marble floor as her eyes gain the icy color back.

“That’s my girl!” Hunter cheered as he transformed.

“I’m waiting Princess,” Raven announced, tapping his foot impatiently.

She watch his foot as he barked out his order, she didn’t want to be his puppet anymore and hear his’s horrible voice take over her own in her head.

That’s all it took the way he growled her name as his look made her feel like he was staring into her soul. Her feet weren’t her anymore as she took a couple of steps and somehow ended up a few feet from the man with the haunting red, demon eyes.

She pulled the necklace fully off and started to hand it over.

“Yes, good job Princess,” Raven boasted, reaching for the gem.

“LUCY DON’T!” Hunter shouted, teleporting in front of her and ripping the necklace out of her hand.

“NO! Princess get it back!” Raven demanded.

“LUCY STOP I DON’T WANT TO HURT YOU!” Hunter yelled as she slammed him into the wall.

“THAT IS A SHAME BECAUSE I WANT TO HURT YOU!” She growled, clawing at his’s fist.

“I’m sorry about this,” Hunter whispered slamming his hand on her rips, burning the skin.

“A-a-ahh!” She screamed, backing away.

Falling to the ground she wrapped her arms around her waist, waiting for her skin to stop feeling like it’s caught on fire.

“I—I—I’m so sorry,” He cried, quickly wiping his eyes.

“You are so pathetic Hunter you can’t even fight her without crying.”

“You were always a cry baby…that night and now.”

“I WAS A KID! Anyone who isn’t heartless like you would cry if their family was murdered in front of them!” Hunter snarled, launching for Raven’s throat.

“No one shall hurt my Master,” Lucy said, slamming a fist in Hunter’s jaw.

“YOU ARE SUCH A COWARD ALWAYS HAVING MINDLESS MINIONS FIGHT FOR YOU, AND NOW LUCY. WHY DON’T YOU FIGHT ME YOURSELF KING RAVEN OR ARE YOU, SCARED OLD MAN!” Hunter roared, wiping the blood off his’s chin.

“Lucy, stop following this asshole he isn’t your master. Come on you are way too stubborn to allow someone else to control you,” He told her, grabbing her arm.

“Come here, Princess!”

“DON’T LISTEN TO HIM!” Hunter cried as he saw Lucy’s heel twisting.

“LUCY!”

She tried to stay, but when Raven called out her name. She threw the boy to the ground and teleported to him.

“I need to teach your Prince a lesson, so I am going to need a little more energy. Therefore, I hope you don’t mind if I consume some of yours,” Raven suggested, pulling Lucy into his chest.

“NO! LUCY DON’T LET HIM!” Hunter tries to scream over Raven’s command.

“She is under my control, so be a good Prince and watch from over there!” Raven snarled, flinging Hunter across the room with a wave of his hand.

“Now, Lucy stay still this will be over soon,” Raven continued as he jammed his’s nails into her arm and chanted.

Her eyes flash back to normal as she felt herself feeling lightheaded.

“AAAH! GET OFF!” Lucy screamed, clawing at his’s gloved hands.

“LUCY!”

“Shh, it’s ok Princess.”

Her eyes started to turn black as he tighten his’s grip making her wounds reopen.

“NO, come on not now!” Hunter tried to reach her, but Raven kept blasting him across the room.

“Come on!” Hunter yelled leaning against the wall, trying to teleport.

“Thank you Princess I hope you enjoy my mark.”

She crashed to the ground as her eyes stay ice blue.

Her body made a snapping noise as her back painfully slam into the marble floor.

Is this where I died? Is this the end of my life? Right when I finally found what I always wanted. A family, adventure, and a love that makes me feel alive. I force myself up against the wall to look at Hunter from across the ballroom. With how drained I feel it seems like he is miles away and is slipping away every time I take in a shaky breath, or when my eyes lids struggle to stay open. He is struggling to get on his feet, yet he shoots me one of his signatures smirk as he trip against his own feet. If I allowed my eyes to shut it would all be over… I wouldn’t have to be in pain or hear this demon voice anymore.

“Until next time,” Raven announce taking Rose from Jackie, and dropping her in front of Lucy, before teleporting away.

Who did he just drop in front of me? Lucy wonder as her eyesight was failing. She felt like her bones were broken as her organs felt like they stop working, and her body felt empty. Like she wasn’t really real or here.

Why does this girl look so familiar? I feel like I’ve seen this hair ribbon before, and this pink dress. I know those shoes…

“R—ose,” Lucy croaked, pulling at the rope.

“H—H-unter get her out of her please,” Lucy choked out as she saw him stumbling over.

“I’m getting you both out of here,” Hunter cried, noticing Lucy struggling to keep her eyes open and her skin losing color.

Lucy laughed through a terrible, scratchy cough, “T-t-hat is wishful thinking Hunter.”

“No, it’s not you are the strongest person I ever met I know it hurts, but don’t stop fighting. keep those lovely blue eyes open.”

“You are always so charming Hun—”

“NO, NO LUCY OPEN YOUR EYES PLEASE,” Hunter begged holding her against his’s chest. “Please…”

“I wish I told you this sooner I doubt you can hear this now, but if it is going to end like this. Lucy, I need to tell you how I truly feel about you. I didn’t just fall for you I fell in love with you. You’re sweet, stubborn, you bring out my goofy side that I had lost, You make me feel alive, and like everything and every day is a new adventure. You are so strong I wish you could have seen how strong you were.

"Dark Lucy was right. I do love you more than anything as friends and as my crush, so if you are going to leave me because of that asshole then I want to do this just once,” Hunter cried as he felt how still and cold Lucy became.

They were surrounded by a glimmering light as a beaming red light traveled through Lucy’s chest. Making her gasp as her eyes went wide, and closed again as her chest slowly started to rise. Her eyes flew open as her body warmed up in Hunter’s arms, and her skin gained color back.

“Did you just kiss me?” Lucy asked, looking up at Hunter’s red face.

“Uh…yes that was the thing I wanted to do before I lost you. I doubt you could hear me with how much pain you were in, but I—”

“I heard everything thank you for waking me up my Prince,” Lucy cut him off as she pulled him in for a kiss. “I love you too you charming, dork,” Lucy smiled, before she took an energy potion that worked on both Gemainina and Human blood from Hunter’s baldrics.

“Rose are you ok?” Lucy asked as she watch her gain consciousness back after the potion got into her system.

“Yeah, better than you, what happened?” Rose asked, rubbing her eyes to make sure she wasn’t dreaming. “Lucy, I am so sorry I wrot—”

“I know Rose, I am sorry too now carefully give me a hug… I am a little beat up.”

“Your arms what happen?” Rose asked enclosing the space between her and Lucy.

“I will be ok nothing stitches can’t fix,” Lucy said, winking at Hunter.

“You are absolutely right Lucy,” Hunter winked back.

“What is this secret code; come on guys don’t leave me hanging!” Rose pouted.

Lucy laughed, “I will catch you up later.”
