Diana’s pov

I did lose, foolishly and completely.

Although I have experienced Nathan’s ruthlessness, I chose to believe in his so–called love.

Perhaps dying in Nathan’s hands was the punishment of the Moon Goddess for me.

I no longer had the strength to struggle.
