The Magic Drink
Meeting Eilish

It was a seemingly normal day in Mycono Kingdom at first. Brothers Jamie McNeill, Malcolm McNeill, Pàl McNeill, and Fraizer McNeill were walking through the market-place when suddenly, someone called out to them.

"Hey, boys! Come here!" the person called.

"Oh?" Pàl asked. "And how safe is it to drink, then?"

The man behind the counter wiggled his eyebrows mischievously. He then said, "Safe enough for all of you guys...unless you're scared!"

Malcolm was angered by that taunt and yelled at the man, "I am definitely not afraid to try a silly little drink!"

The man's smile widened and he said, “Good for you, lad! How about you four go find some money and come back here later? I'll have a nice set of four bottles waiting for you."

With that, Fraizer led his brothers away from the stand. It was common for him to assume the role of leader, even if his brothers weren't very appreciative of his efforts. Quite awhile later, Jamie found himself wandering by himself down an old dirt road.

'Perhaps The Magic Drink isn't really the best idea... The others would probably think I'm a baby if I tell them my thoughts...but that man was so kind... How can I afford to hurt his feelings?' Jamie thought.

He sighed and kept walking. Not looking where he was going, he accidentally crashed into some girl who happened to be standing in the path.

"Oof! Sorry!" Jamie cried out.

"It's alright," the girl said.

"Hi, I’m Jamie!" Jamie said with a wide smile on his face.

"Hi, my name is Eilish," the girl introduced herself to Jamie.

"Ooh, you're not from around here, are you?" Jamie asked.

"Nope. I've come from far, far away...just to get away from it all," Eilish said.

"Have you met my brothers yet?!" Jamie asked. "They are amazing!"

"No, not yet. Are they nice?!" Eilish asked.

"Pàl and Fraizer are!" Jamie replied.

"I think people who are nice are nice!" Eilish responded.

Jamie smiled and took Eilish over to where his three brothers were. A close friend of theirs' was also there. His name was Mungo Hepburn.

"Hi, I'm Eilish, wanna be friends?!" Eilish asked, smiling and waving at the group.

"We can be your friends!" Fraizer replied.

"Yay!" Eilish yelled and then she hugged each of the boys one after the other.

"Okay...I would've preferred a high five," Mungo said, cringing a bit.

"Oh, oops! I forgot to ask your names!" Eilish said.

"I'm Fraizer," said Fraizer.

"I'm Pàl," said Pàl.

"I'm Malcolm!" said Malcolm.

"I'm Mungo!" said Mungo.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Eilish!" Eilish introduced herself.

"These idiots are my brothers! Except for the kid with the black hair, he's an idiot too, though! And I am the main McNeill!" Malcolm said.

"It's not nice to call people idiots!" Eilish said, frowning sadly.

"Yeah, Malcolm!" Jamie said with a pout.

Eilish continued to frown sadly.

"...sorry..." Malcolm muttered.

"It's okay," Eilish said, smiling.

"Great! Now you know all of us, let's throw a party!" Jamie said excitedly.

"Yay! I'm invited to a party!” Eilish exclaimed, smiling.

"Someone should go get the pizza and soda!" Jamie pointed out.

"I'll go get it!" Eilish volunteered.

All the boys said, "Thank you!"

"Meet you...wait, where are we meeting?" Eilish asked.

Pàl handed Eilish a map of the area with a red x on a small castle.

"Thank you, but I stink at geometry," Eilish said, not able to figure out what the different shapes meant.

Pàl touched the map and it zoomed in for an easier look at where to go.

"Thank you! Well, I'm gonna go get pizza and soda!" Eilish said.

"Good luck!" Jamie called out.

"Thank you!" Eilish said, then she left and went to a pizza place.
