Leonard woke up the following morning feeling cold and uncomfortable. He had a headache and a stomach ache. His extremities also felt icy. Then he found himself curled up on a mattress.

There was nothing on the mattress, not even the bed sheets. Instead, Leonard slept directly on the plastic film.

‘Didn’t I spend the night drinking with Lucas and the others? Which b*stard threw me on this naked mattress?!’

After ensuring he was in his room, Leonard sat up abruptly and saw Lisa soundly sleeping on the floor, wrapped in his blanket. He almost died of anger.

‘Well, well. Lisa seems to be enjoying her sleep.’

Fuming, he walked over on his bare feet, forcefully lifted the blanket, and began to say, “Lisa, you…”

However, his anger dissipated instantly.

Underneath the sky-blue sheets, Lisa’s cheeks were flushed from sleep. Some buttons on her white pajamas were open, revealing her fair skin and collarbone. When the water splashed on her that night, what she wore underneath became apparent.

Since that was the case, she removed what she wore beneath her pajamas. The fabric of her pajamas rolled up at the waist, exposing her slender abdomen and a glimpse of her belly button.

Leonard’s body inexplicably heated up at the sight, and he wondered if it resulted from last night’s heavy drinking. Frustrated, he threw the blanket back over her, regretting his misfortune of being involved with such a woman.

Lisa sleepily rubbed her eyes and yawned when the blanket landed on her. She greeted him with a simple “Good morning.”

Leonard sneered in response. “You took all of my blankets. Do you think I’m having a good morning?”

“It was you who didn’t give me a blanket last night. I had no choice. I didn’t want to catch a cold,” Lisa explained, blinking in

confusion.

“You didn’t want to catch a cold, so you wanted me to catch it instead?” Leonard said, as his face turned into disgust.

Lisa looked at him strangely. “You think I’d catch a cold for you?”

He fell silent, unable to respond.

‘Is there something wrong with that? Given my social status, who wouldn’t prioritize me?’

Lisa replied, “If I were in love with you, I’d make sacrifices like that. Do you want me to love you?”

“Keep dreaming.” Leonard shivered, turned, and went to the bathroom to shower. After showering, he remembered throwing his towel into the wash last night. Now, he did not have a towel or a change of clothes.

After hesitating for a few seconds, Leonard thundered, “Lisa!”

“What?!”

Leonard continued, “Get me a new towel from the drawer and grab my pajamas on your way.”

Lisa’s footsteps quickly approached the door, and she replied, “Sure. Beg me.”

Leonard narrowed his eyes in response.

“Please have the decency to ask for help politely. Can’t you even say a standard ‘please’ and ‘thank you?’ I’m not your maid,” Lisa lectured him from outside the door, emphasizing the importance of politeness.

The restraint that had been holding Leonard back all morning suddenly snapped. “Fine. I don’t need you. I’ll get it myself.”

He forcefully opened the bathroom door with a decisive snap and stepped out.

He caught Lisa off guard, and she widened her eyes in disbelief. She had experienced numerous ups and downs in this household but was genuinely stunned at that moment. She never expected Leonard to be so shameless.
