"Hello." I answered with a yawn.

"Hello, Human. We shall be at the Knight estate in 5 hours." Lucian said from the other end.

I looked over at the clock. '4:05 am' it read.

"Its 4 in the morning. Why are you calling so early?"

Damien drapped his arm across my stomach. "Who is that?" He grumbled.

"Lucian."

"We wanted to make sure the plan is still in effect. We dont want you to back out."

"We wont. After we give her the blood he will have the ability to kill her. He has to stay hidden until then. She cant know hes here. You need to just have a vile of his blood." Damien said after taking my phone.

I heard mumbling on the other end.

"We will figure it out. Just meet us at 451 Mcdaren rd."

There was more mumbling.

"Its not hard to miss. It is the first road you come to after entering our property. There is a small cottage at the end where Alpha Krane will wait. She will still be weak. We will offer her the cottage to stay in until she is fully recharged. This should all go according to plan as long as you stay away from her. She can Siren you into telling her everything."

Lucian said something else.

"Then it is agreed. Now do not call again unless something is wrong."

Damien hung up the phone and tossed it on the nightstand.

Groaning he pulled me back down into bed. Wrapping his arms around me. "Go back to sleep."

I inhaled his scent as I closed my eyes. Snuggling into him.

We had been asleep for what felt like minutes when there was pounding on the door.

We both groaned. I looked at the clock. 6am it said. Uhh.

We both got out of bed. Damien went to the door. He hadnt even gotten the door opened a crack before Rose barreled In.

"Seriously!" I snapped coming up behind Damien.

"Today is the day that the blood that saves my life shows up. I want to make sure we have the same goal set. Because she will die if i dont get what i want." She spoke turning round to face us.

"You will get the blood. Theres a cottage near the beginning of our estate. That is were you will be taken after consuming the blood." Damien spoke crossing his arms.

"Why? You know that sounded like a trap right?"

"You will still be weak. Too weak to be able to survive out on your own. You have to drink a vile of the alphas blood. Then you have to drink from Crowley. Your body will have to regenerate. You'll be out for a bit. That cottage is safe. It's spelled to protect the people who enter it. Supernatural or not."

"Fine. But you and her will be the ones who take me there. Just so I know it's not a trap. You wouldnt risk your precious mates life." She said before walking out.

We both let out a stiff sigh after the door was shut.

"We need to be more careful." I said.

"No. We are already careful. We just need to be smarter than her. We most definitely need to keep Lucian away from her. If not. Who knows what will happen." He pulled me into a hug.

"Just promise me if there is any sign of danger. Anything goes wrong you will get us both out if there. No matter what." I said, laying my head on his chest.

"We wont get anywhere near the cottage. The plans are changing. Alpha Krane will be laying in wait in my vehicle. As soon as she opens the door he will kill her."

I pulled back from him. "And if she doesnt die? If this plan doesnt go as we want what will happen? Shes been 5 steps ahead of us many times. How do we know that as soon as she opens that door and sees him, she won't bolt?"

"Because I will be right behind her. Ready to grab her If she tries to run."

I looked down. Skeptical. "Damien, If she figures this out I'm dead."

"I know. We just need to hold on hope that she wont."

"Fine. But we need to let Lucian know about the plan change."

We all looked among one another as the door bell rang. We had locked Rose back up in her cell, so she couldnt cause any harm or hear what was going on.

Damien and I stood and headed for the door. Among opening it stood Alpha Krane and Lucian.

"You have a beautiful mate, Knight." Alpha Krane spoke.

Damien looked down at me before smiling and nodding. "She is."

"Were is the bitch?"

"Locked back up in her cell. So she cant harm anyone or hear anything going on."

"Good good. Lucian has my blood. When the time comes Ariel needs to be out of the way of everything."

"I cant. Rose wants me to be with them. I cant not be. She will know it's a trap if I'm not with Damien when they go to the vehicle."

Alpha Krane stood silent for a minute. Before speaking. "I should have brought Emma. She would have been able to protect you with a strong spell."

I did a small smile of appreciation for the thought.

"Let's get set up then." Lucian said clapping his hands together.

Damien took Alpha Krane to the SUV while I brought Lucian in the house.

"Wait." I stopped short before turning to him. "No one invited you In how did you enter?"

He began to laugh. "Because nobody who is living owns this house."

"Oh. Okay." We continued on as I took him to the living room, where everyone else was waiting.

"Lucian, never thought I'd see you again." Grayson said, voice strained.

"Well, you know that saying 'small world' an all." Lucian spoke, tense.

"Okay. So we all know what's going on. Let's just get this over with." Damien said as he walked in.

"Here." Lucian handed me a vile of dark red liquid hanging from a chain. I looked to Damien after taking it.

"Go bring up Rose." Kameran spoke. Caleb nodded and left the room.

"Lucian, you need to go to the kitchen. She will try to lure you in." Damien said.

He nodded before following Angie.

I sat next to Crowley as we waited for Caleb to bring up Rose.

"I hope you survive this." Crowley spoke. "I know all about Rose and again I hope you survive this."

"So do I."

"Awe isnt that sweet. I know I know. I'm such a terrible vampire that I could be lying and just kill her anyway. But dont worry. The precious human is safe." Rose said as she entered the room with caleb behind her. "So where's my blood?"

Crowley and I stood. I handed Crowley the vile of blood and stood off to the side as he went to Rose.

"Before I give you this give me your word that as soon as you heal, you stay out of the Knights and the Cremor packs life forever."

"You trust me enough for that?" She laughed.

"No but word is law and blood is binding. You will give me a blood vow before I give you this."

"My blood is tainted. How would you know that itll hold?"

"Because your blood still runs through your veins. Weak but there. This blood will not change yours. Itll just take the poison out, heal your body and make your weak blood stronger. Thus making the vow air tight."

"Fine. Knife, give me a knife. So I can get this over with and be on my marry way." She waved her arms around.

Caleb stepped up and handed her a knife. She took it and cut a long line down the middle of her hand.

"Now. As soon as I am fully healed I will leave and never return to harm any member of the Knight family or the Cremor Pack. If I break my vow may the earth open up and swallow me whole, taking me to the pit of hell."

"Good. Now here." Crowley handed her the vile and his wrist. After she downed the Alphas blood, she bit down on Crowleys wrist.

She smiled and headed for the kitchen. "Where are you going?" Damien spoke quickly.

"To the kitchen, i need to clean up my face and would like a drink." She continued on.

I looked to Damien and went to speak when Lucian walked in the other door opposite the one Rose entered.

We all sighed.

"Okay. I'm tired and feel like I'm going to pass out any minute. Take me to this cottage." Rose spoke, coming into the room.

Damien and I stood and headed for the door. Rose followed after us.

Damien exited the house first with Rose following behind. I grabbed my coat and headed out as well.

Rose stopped suddenly.

"What are you-" my words cut off In gasps for air as I stood there. Rose had turned and struck fast. Her hand deep in my chest squeezing my heart. Everything seemed to go into slow motion as I saw Damien turn behind her and scream my name. The vehicle door opened and I watched Alpha Krane exit and begin to run towards us.

"You think I'm stupid. I can smell his blood. I've tasted it. I knew he was here as soon as I stepped out of that house." She hissed. Her words barely registering in my brain. I was enveloped in pain.

Before Damien could get to me she was gone. And I was falling to the ground. I felt Damiens arms around me before the world went black.
