“But I tremble when I see too many people. People like me might not be born for big occasions.” 

“Then you can imagine that I’m under the stage.” 

“How should I do it? Based on my imagination? Alright, Mr. Ranford, go ahead to attend your business. I’m fine.” 

Alexandra walked to the wardrobe gloomily to put the clothes away. 

Julian didn’t say anything. He glanced at her, turned around, and left the room.

He had been paying attention to her for a long time. 

Later, when he met her by chance, he realized that she was different from the news reports online. 

The real her was a cute little girl. She was frank, brave, and beautiful. 

It was hard for him not to be attracted to her. 

William said, “I haven’t apologized to you properly. I’m sorry for getting you involved during the opening ceremony.” 

“Ah, I didn’t take it to heart. Mr. Jolston, please don’t mention it again.” Alexandra was still annoyed at the thought of the incident. She had been played by Julian. 

In the end, the joke was actually herself. 

She had almost forgotten it before William’s words reminded her, and she felt awkward again.

“Yes.” William smiled. When he smiled, he was very charming, revealing a cute canine tooth. No wonder Martha liked him so much. His good look was one in a million. 

However, he was not as good–looking as Julian. 

Alexandra commented in her heart. 

She actually liked watching magic tricks. “But why didn’t I see you rehearse?” 

“You’ll see in a while. I was busy with the Student Union before.” 

“I see.” 

“I need a partner. Would you mind?” William suddenly requested. 

Alexandra was shocked. 

Her eyes widened with the lollipop in her mouth. “What did you say?” 

“I need a partner for my magic trick. But I can’t find the right person. Can you help me?” 

“If you don’t agree, it means that you’re still blaming me for what happened at the opening ceremony.” 

Chapter 57 

“… Mr. Jolston. Cut it out. I don’t know how to do magic tricks” Alexandra took out the lollipop in frustration. She didn’t like William’s words. 

William still insisted. “You don’t have to do anything You don’t have to speak You just need to cooperate with me. Just lie down.” 

“Lie down?” 

“Yes. My magic trick is from the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. I have prepared my magic tricks well, but I need a beauty,” said William.

Alexandra’s heart softened for no reason. She hated it when others looked pitiful. Moreover, William was so outstanding, and his grades were so good. He was even bullied by Martha. 

Anyway, he said that he only needed her to lie down and did not need to do anything else. 

Alexandra replied, “Alright, I’ll help you. But don’t blame me if I mess it up!”
