Marco felt unhappy if he didn’t say it out loud. “It’s good that you know this. Mrs.. Ranford will know more about your relationship. She should listen to you more in the future.”

Alexandra’s heart was as calm as ever. She said, “I see.” 

Martha was speechless. 

She felt as if all her fists had been punched into the air. 

Why was Alexandra acting so strangely today?
