Chapter 73 

Julian took over the phone and said to the other end, “Then we’ll pick Jacob up tonight. You guys pack up.” 

After hanging up, Frank said, “Boss, is it that urgent?” 

Julian said, “I’m afraid we’re not in a hurry. Someone is. Hurry up and eat. After you’re done, go to the Cameron family to pick Jacob 

up.” 

Marco said, “Alright, I’ll arrange for the manpower and treatment in the hospital.” 

After dinner, when Julian and Frank were about to drive to Greenville, Alexandra also wanted to go along. 

Julian asked her, “Have you forgotten about what happened this morning?” 

Alexandra said, “Maybe it’s just in time for his relapse. I want to go too.” 

Julian didn’t reject her request and took her with him. Anyway, he knew that he definitely wouldn’t let Jacob hurt Alexandra again.

Alexandra, on the other hand, forced herself to stay awake. After all, she arrived later than the two of them last night and slept even 

less. 

Julian glanced at Alexandra. She was sitting against the door, her head against the glass window, and her fingers picking at the door handle.

Julian realized that she had fallen asleep, so he quietly moved closer to her.

Alexandra did not wake up. Instead, she rubbed her face against his warm hand. 

Julian helped her up and placed her head on his shoulder. 

Afraid that she would fall, he leaned against the seat so that she could rest her head on her shoulder. 

His right hand gently wrapped around her back. 

Alexandra only felt that the pillow was a little hard. She rubbed her head and reached out to hug Julian’s waist. 

When her small hands touched Julian through his clothes, Julian felt as if his body had been electrocuted. 

This feeling did not disappear immediately. Instead, it was like a warm current that slowly extended to the surroundings of his body. 

He could smell her. 

Julian took his coat from the side and draped it over Alexandra, letting her hug him. 

Frank, who was sitting in the front seat, had never seen such a scene before.
