The Other Side

A dethroned god must make her way across the world to find her childhood best friend - before the planet and everyone on it becomes frozen in time. Chuva's search leads her to Atlas isle, long regarded as the holiest and most magical place in existence, where she finds not only Silas, but also a new and respectable position as a member of the Royal Guard. Yet flaws keep appearing in what she thought would be a perfect new life - Silas is treating her almost like a stranger, the government is falling apart, and the planet itself has started to stagnate as all natural forces mysteriously grind to a halt. As the world grows more and more desperate, Chuva becomes convinced that no mere mortal could ever hope to restore order...but is she really strong enough to confront the entity that dethroned the gods in the first place?
