Chapter 14: Halloween Concert pt. 2

When they arrived, Evie took Eliza to Dracula’s mansion, where there the other ghouls were. When Evie rang the doorbell, Dracula opened it.

“Princess Evie, it’s so good to see you again. How have you been?” He asked (Evie is a princess of one of the most famous earth kingdoms, called Everfree; she and her parents are on a semi-long vacation).

“I’ve been good. Drac, this is my friend, Victoria, Victoria, this is Dracula, Danielle’s dad.” said Evie.

“Nice to meet you, sir.” said Eliza.

“Please, call me Drac, you make me feel old.” he said and she nodded while smiling. By now they were already inside the mansion with Dracula leading them upstairs to Danielle’s room where the other ghouls were.

“Hey, ghouls.” said Fraya.

“Hey, so I brought over the ideas I had for each of you for your outfits tonight.” said Eliza once Dracula left. She showed the girls her ideas. Christina’s outfit consisted of black, ripped jeans with gold zippers on each leg, black heeled boots, a purple tank top, and with a black cropped jacket. Fraya’s outfit was an electric blue, sequined tank top, a black cropped jacket, white jeans, and red heeled boots. Danielle’s outfit was consisted of a light pink, sequined tank top, black ripped jeans, a black cropped jacket, and light pink heeled boots. Hayleen’s outfit consisted of gold jeans, dark green heeled boots, a black cropped jacket, and a dark green, sequined tank top.

Cleo’s outfit consisted of a gold, sequined tank top, a black cropped jacket, blue, ripped jeans, and gold heeled boots. Layla’s outfit consisted of a black cropped jacket, a silver tank top, baby blue, ripped jeans, and baby pink heeled boots.

“I didn’t know if you’d like them or not.” said Eliza shyly.

“Ghoul, these outfits are furtastic! I love them.” said Christina.

“Thanks, but they’re missing your monster touch, you know to show how each of you are unique.” she said.

“Nothing I can’t fix, and along with Fraya’s help they’ll be glow-in-the-dark.” said Christina.

“Well, let’s get to work.” said Eliza then the girls grabbed their purses and left the mansion. They went to some boutiques that Christina, Danielle, and Cleo had highly recommended for some fabric and other things. Once they were done, they headed back to the mansion to start on the outfits.

*3 Hours and 30 minutes Later*

After a long time of waiting, Eliza was finally done with all the girls’ outfits which were on manikins waiting to be monsterized by Christina and Fraya.

“All done, now’s the time for some monsterizing.” said Eliza stepping back to let Christina and Fraya do their part. Christina had added things that were monsterly unique yet edgy like fangs, lightning bolts, Egyptian hieroglyphics that spelled out “fabulous” for Cleo, a few seashells, etc. and then Fray made them glow-in-the-dark using her electricity. Chritstina howled in excitement.

“These look amazing!” squealed Danielle.

“Mate, these are so cool!” said Layla.

“Thanks guys.” said Eliza while smiling at them.

“I can’t wait to wear these at your concert tonight!” squealed Danielle.

“Me either! We’ll look so boltagous in them.” said Fraya.

“It was nice seeing you guys, but we have to get going. Me and Evie have to get going. I need to start on me and Evie’s ball gowns for the ball tonight.” said Eliza.

“That’s tonight!? Oh. My. Raw! Ghouls, we have to start working on our dresses! Grace, come help me pick out some fabric for my dress, bye ghouls.” said Cleo before leaving with Grace, who was a zombie.

“Cleo is totes right, come on ghouls, let’s go get some fabric.” said Danielle then the other girls leave leaving Evie and Eliza there, but soon they left as well.

*Eliza’s P.o.v*

Me and Evie left Dracula’s mansion and went back to Earth, there we got ourselves some flurries. I had the Cookies n’ Cream while Evie had the one with M&MS on them.

“Why do people keep staring at us?” whispered Evie. That’s when I noticed people giving us weird looks. It wasn’t mean, jealous looks more like this-can’t-be-happening looks; I looked at my hair and remember that I was still in my Victoria Queen look and not my Elizabeth Winters look.

“I’m still Victoria.” I whispered, and just then cameras, fans, and press people came running and asking questions, then was the police, who had to hold back the bizarre fans.

“Ms. Queen, what are you doing here?” asked one reporter from Glitz&Glam Magazine.

“I’m hanging out with a close friend of mine while getting ice cream.” I simply said, while smiling and waving. I could tell that Evie wasn’t used to the flashing lights of the cameras, people bombing questions at you, and that she was used to being herself, even if she was a princess(yeah, Aunt Eva and Uncle Eric told me.)

“Now Leave Us Alone!!!” she yelled, and the surprising thing was that they did.

“Now, next, we will be getting our nails and toes done. To the salon!” she said, no commanded, making me giggle. After we finished our ice cream, we left.

Once they got to the salon, Eliza went to the lady at the counter.

“Hi, I’m here for an appointment please.” she said.

“And what is your name?” asked the lady.

“Victoria Queen.” she said.

“Ms. Queen, right. Come this way.” said the lady at the desk then, she led Evie and Eliza into these two chairs both black with silver designs, and handed them some magazines to keep them busy. They were started off with their finger nails being done. Evie had gotten her finger nails done an emerald green with black flowers, and a sparkly top coat. Eliza had gotten hers done silver with tiny cobalt blue snowmen that had gold, coal buttons and hat. And for their toes, they both got golden nail polish that had black designs. When it dried, the girls went home, and started on their dresses for tonight’s ball. Evie had chosen a dark, emerald green fabric that was sparkly.

After a while of hard work, she was done with her dress, which was off the shoulders and hung her curves perfectly, a thin, black belt that had a golden heart in the middle was around her waist, and black stiletto heels accompanied her outfit while her hair was down and wavy.

Eliza had chosen a sparkly, ice blue sheet of fabric, and began designing. She made the structure long and flowing. It had a heart shaped, silver sequined top, she added silver snowflakes all over the blue part of her dress with her powers, then placed a silver diamond belt around the waist. She chose silver stiletto heels to accompany the outfit, and for the last touch, she had her black hair done in a french braid. By the time they were done, it was 5:30 p.m. so they wore their dresses, shoes, and jewelry as well. So when it was 5:45 p.m, they took the limo, and went to the castle ball wearing masks. Evie’s mask was a dark, emerald green and black mask while Eliza’s mask was an ice blue and silver mask.

*Eliza's P.o.v*

When I had gotten out of the limo, Evie came after me then, we went inside the castle.

“Wow, this place is amazing.” I said, while looking around the ballroom, which was decorated in black, silver, orange, red, and yellow along with some gold here and there, as is was filled with many people all dresses in amazing dresses, tuxedos, and masks.

“Of course it does, MY parents decorated it.” said a familiar voice that I hate so much. Evie turned around and faked a smile.

“Princess Sophia, how lovely it is to see you again.” she said while curtsying.

“Likewise.” said Sophia while flipping her hair, which was in a high ponytail and curly.

“Well, Princess Sophia, if you may have forgotten, but it wasn’t just your parents who decorated the place. MY parents also decorated it.” said Evie. I had to go soon.

“Well, tell them they did a good job, Princess Sophia.” I said before walking away. I ended up by the small stairs that lead to the stage.

“Jut then Queen Amber grabbed a spoon and a glass cup and clinked them together.

“I’d just like to thank everyone for coming to tonight’s 34th annual Halloween Ball.” she said and then there was a roar of applause. When it died down she continued.

“Tonight, I’d like to announce the first dance of the evening, The Zombie Dance! Everyone get up and dance like a zombie, with our very own Victoria Queen!” That’s my cue, I got up on stage, grabbed the mic, and when the music started, I started singing while everyone was dancing like a zombie.

*2 Hours later*

Right now it just turned 7:00 p.m, and I have to be at the concert soon. Soon, I found Evie, who was by the snack table eating a few pieces of chocolate Reeces

“Evie, I have to go and start getting ready for my concert.” I said, but then a lady, who had grey skin, light blue eyes, lavender lips, and silver and purple ombre hair came onto the stage.

“Well, well, well, same old ball every year, huh sisters?” she said.

“Leave, Monica, you’re banned from ever entering the palace remember?” said Queen Amber with a stern expression.

“Mom, relax, I invited her.” said Princess Sophia.

“They’re friends? Last time I checked, when did Sophia have friends?” whispered Evie.

“She’s my special guest.” said Princess Sophia. Queen Amber and Aunt Eva started arguing with their husbands over whether or not they should let her stay, and after a while Queen Amber, sighed and gave in.

“Okay.” Said Queen Amber, looking sad.

“Those ghouls together and alone are double trouble.” said Christina coming over to us. She was wearing a golden Sweetheart neck mermaid dress that had a slit on her right side, showing her leg when she walked, a golden mask that sparkled, and her hair was down and wavy.

“I agree with you. Well, I’ll see guys soon, remember 8:00, don’t be late.” I said before leaving the ballroom and getting into the limo.
