Chapter 16: Happy Death Day

Today was Halloween on Earth, the most scariest, funnest day of the year, where everybody dresses up as their favorite thing. Eliza woke up to the sound of her alarm clock buzzing at 7:30 a.m.

As they walked inside the big, glass, golden store that had orange and black decorations, they saw all cute outfits.

“Ms. Queen, I’m so glad you’ve decided to take a look at my store! I’m the owner, Callista Fierce.” said Callista, who was a faintly pale woman, who was in her twenties, had grey cat like eyes that flashed gold for a split second, black shoulder length hair that ended with emerald green tips, a grey and black stripped “fake” tale, and pearly white teeth that when she smiled, she showed her fangs; you could clearly tell she was a monster.

“Thank you, and I’m happy to be here.” said Eliza.

“So, what are you looking for today?” asked Callista.

“Um, I’m looking for a costume that will look good on me, show my curves, a little breast, but not too much to make it look slutty. I want it to be blue, preferably cobalt blue, gold, silver, and black. Maybe a Greek goddess looking, and it has to be sparkly and cute.” said Eliza.

“Okay, stay right here and I’ll bring out some options.” said Callista before leaving. Later, she returned with at least eight to ten outfits in her hands.

“Wow.” said Evie.

“Well, try on one, Tori.” said Erica before grabbing a random outfit out of Callista’s hand and shoving it along with Eliza into the changing room. When Eliza came out, she was wearing a tight, blue mermaid dress that had gold and black sparkles starting from below the waist and down, the top of the dress had thin straps, and the bottom ruffled. She did a few turns and poses.

“What do you think?” asked Callista.

“I like it, but I want to see the rest.” said Eliza.

“It’s not the best.” said Evie.

“I’d give it at least a six and a half.” said Erica. So, Eliza grabbed another dress from Evie before going back into the changing room. This time, she came out wearing a white, tight dress that went into a black ombre going down, and the top had gold sparkles.

“Now, this is way too uncomfortable and tight for my liking.” said Eliza before going back into the changing room with another dress.

*A Few Moments Later*

Eliza finally chose the dress she wanted, it was a black witch costume as well as the black hat that came with it. The dress at the top showed a little of hr breasts, but not to where it showed a lot. The dress had gold, blue, and silver sparkles as well as the hat, which had a set of four, black raven feathers on it.

“This is the one that I want, now to get some accessories, shoes, makeup, and hair!” said Eliza.

Evie had picked out her own outfit, but wanted it to be a surprise. After Eliza got her black broomstick that had diamonds on it, they got some shoes. Eliza got some sparkly, black stilettos while Evie got a pair of dark green boot heels. Later, they got some creepy, cute accessories, and had made their way back to Evie’s home. When they got to Evie’s house, they both got ready in their outfits along with Erica, who was dressed as a fairy devil, did their hair and makeup, and by the time she was done it was time to leave. Evie was dressed as a green, black, and gold version of Captain Hook.

The limo arrived and took them to where the party was being held at. Laura’s mansion was gold and black and lights inside meant that the party inside was already in full swing. They were standing at the front door waiting to go in.

“You guys go in, I’ll come in after you.” said Eliza.

“How come?” asked Evie.

“Oh, I see what she’s doing.” said Erica, who being with Eliza over the years as her manager understood where she was going with what she said.

" What?” asked Evie.

“She wants to make a big entrance. It’s the celebrity in her.” said Erica, answering Evie’s previous question.

“Oh, okay. Well, let’s go inside.” said Evie, then she and Erica went inside the mansion while Eliza stayed outside.

“Who are you and what are you doing at MY costume party!?” demanded Laura, who was dressed as a mermaid with sparkly, blue hair, a seashell crown, a pink and silver tail that allowed you to see her gold heels underneath, and with glittery makeup done on her face.

“Awe, Laura, it’s such a shame you don’t remember me. Why, you’re the one who invited me to your party.” said Eliza, then when she took off her hat, gasps of shock filled the room.

“Victoria! It’s so good to see you, and do you look amazing!” said Laura as she gave her a tight hug before letting go.

“Thanks so much for inviting me again.” said Eliza, being sincere.

“No problem, you’re the first person I’d ever invite to one of my parties.” said Laura, then the music started up again, and everyone was having an awesome time eating snack, dancing, or chatting with friends, completely unaware of the many deaths that had already happened that night.
