The fate of the world is about to change and so is the life of a young writer Liv who discover that her fate - and that of mankind - had been determined before she born. That’s what young writer Liv discovers when she moves to Miami to live with her aunt Amy during her last year of college. Excited to now be living in the ‘Sunshine State’, she is looking forward to making friends, studying hard, and spending more time with her aunt and cousins. Just when she feels like she has a handle on her new life, she meets the enigmatic Evan. She can’t deny her attraction to him, but she also knows that there is something strange about him. Why is Evan so evasive? What secrets is he hiding? Meanwhile, she uncovers some diaries belonging to her dead Grandad, and can scarcely believe what is contained inside them. What is this ‘proposal’ that he keeps mentioning and why does it portend that the fate of the world is about to change? As a mysterious virus starts to sweep across continents, Liv finally starts to receive some answers. But soon it becomes clear that Liv’s survival, and the fate of the world, lies in her hands.
