Nadia felt something poking her in the rear. She shifted her b*dy a bit but it still poked. It was disturbing her from her beauty sleep. She tried to push it away but it still touched her back. What could it have been.

Slowly. Nadia opened her eyes to find a her mate, Vance seated beside her. She jolted immediately. Vance fell off the bed and rolled to the floor as he laughed.

“That was so funny. I had a really good laugh” he said to her.

Nadia slowly got up on her feet as she tried to open her eyes to see clearly. She looked to her mate with a frown, “What was that about?” She asked as she got on the bed, holding her waist. “I almost smashed my head into the wall. What kind of trick did you intend to do there?” She sighed.

Vance smiled, he walked over to her side of the bed as he held his hand out to help her stand up. Nadia took his hand as she grabbed it to stand. He smiled at her as he enveloped her in his embrace. Placing her head on his shoulder.

“My Luna. I am sorry I scared you. It’s just that I have missed you for so long and I thought to play with you. I never meant to cause you to roll off your bed or disturb you. I apologize. Okay?” He said to her.

Nadia lifted her head off his shoulders. She slowly pulled a little away, enough to see his face. She smiled as she hugged him again, “it’s alright. You know I belong to you. You can wake me up and play with me whenever you chose to. I forgive you” she patted his back.

“How about we do what we usually did when we were together?” He asked with excitement on his face and some in his voice. Nadia froze. She was trembling inside. What did he and the owner of the b*dy she was in always do?

he would understand and it would chase him away, but she was wrong. Vance had no intentions of backing down. He quietly left her to be.

Nadia felt movements as she sensed Vance walking away. She heaved a sigh of relief thinking he had left her. She smiled as she fully closed her eyes to try and fall into sleep again. Nadia was almost there when something felt weird. It felt like something wast crawling up her sheets. Nadia opened her eyes to fully observe. She stayed still for a while and noticed something was really creeping towards her.

She immediately jumped out of bed. She was about running out of the room when she saw Vance with a feather in his hand and a branch of a tree in another. She immediately realized it. It was another one of his games. She cried out in frustration.

“Was that really necessary? I begged for you to let me sleep and I thought you agreed. What happened.”

Vance turned to give her a big smile and then started talking.

“I had not seen you for a whole year. My life was dark without you. I’m sorry I am acting this way. I’m just excited that’s all. I know you are sleeping but I’m begging. Let’s head. out for a run, when we get back, I will let you sleep till you get tired” he said to her as she witnessed him try to make puppy eyes at her. It looked so cute.

Nadia pretended to have a little tantrum but sooner than later, she agreed and went in for a shower. He allowed her to groom while he sat down waiting. She had finished as she stood in the room, dressing up about to leave. Nadia was almost ready when she decided to wear comfortable shoes for running. That was the expected thing to do, but as she tried to put them on, Vance stopped her.

“What are yo

you doing?” He asked her. Nadia felt embarrassed a little as she had no idea. why he had asked her that but she maintained her cool. She paused and turned to him. as she lifted her face to look at him.

“I’m putting on comfortable shoes for us to run. Isn’t that what people do?” She asked innocently with pretty eyes. Vance smiled as he rested his head on his hand, watching her. Nadia looked at him with a doubtful look. “Is something wrong?” She said to him.

Vance shook his head as his smile widened. He was acting funny but she decided she would ignore him and continue wearing her shoes. She turned to continue when Vance spoke.

“You do realize we won’t be needing shoes right?” He asked. His statement threw Nadia off balance. She fell on the ground as she squinted in pain. She turned to see him. standing up and walking towards her to help her. He offered her a hand.

“I’m sorry about that. I had no idea I would make you lose balance.”
