Chapter 81 

It was a young man who was about the same height as Ray. He had on a backpack and was carrying a suitcase. He looked disillusioned and frustrated, which was unusual for a young man at his age. 

Although he was unshaven and was still far away, I immediately remembered that he was Sabrina’s boyfriend, Nathan. 

I understood something when I saw the suitcase in his hand. 

I waited quietly where I was and saw that after Nathan and Ray had talked for a while, he waved goodbye to Ray and left. 

Ray also turned to walk inside, but he spotted me at the door and immediately ran toward me.

“Him? He’s Nathan, a good friend of mine. I think I’ve mentioned him to you before. His girlfriend broke up. with him, and he lost his job, so he plans to stay in his hometown for a while. He came specially to say goodbye to me,” Ray said.

She feels that he’s too complacent, so she doesn’t want him anymore.” 

I had been too busy recently and hadn’t been keeping up with the ongoings of Holmes Group.

“Ray, since Sabrina doesn’t like Nathan, why did she choose to be together with him in the first place?” 

Ray was startled, 

He obviously hadn’t expected me to ask about that, so he said, “Nathan might be playful, but his father still holds a certain status in their hometown. I think he’s an executive at some bureau or other, Sabrina may be accomplished, but she lost her father at a young age, and I heard that she’s from an average family.
