"So, you have no Beta or Gamma, and Blake is practically losing his shit, as his ex-wife already replaced him as the Alpha," I cackled and heard Silas sigh into the phone.

"I think it's time I take matters into my own hands and let you two sit back and watch a real Alpha at work," I laughed into the phone and heard Silas growl.

"See you soon, Alpha Silas," I said and hung up the receiver before he could reply.

I turned and looked at Jed as he stood to the side and waited for further instructions.

"Yvette is now the Luna of the Golden Moon pack and is mated to Antonio's younger brother," I said, watching his reaction.

Jed seemed unphased and straightened up more. I smiled and ushered him to have a seat.

"Jed, I want you to send messages to Ozul, Prax, and Espen."

"Let them know that I want to set up a meeting, understood?" he looked taken back for a second.

"Yes, Alpha," he said, bowed as he exited my office.

After Jed left my office, I turned my chair and looked at my bay window and unto my pack lands, watching my warriors train. I did old-fashioned training where if a warrior was wounded and couldn't fight, he was useless to me, and his opponent had the option to kill or be punished for not following a command.

I did not need weak wolves in my pack. It was kill or be killed. My training was brutal and not what you would expect, but it made my warriors stronger and more willing to fight for their lives. I smiled at the thought of finally taking down the Blue Eclipse pack and having Staci's body withering beneath mine as she screamed my name in mercy.

Alpha Ace was smart with this strategy, as it would confuse their enemies so that the scents would differ. I smirked as Boulder growled quietly. We followed their patrol schedules and kept up with how they changed tactics.

"We should rest and try to devise a plan to kidnap our mate and daughter," I said to Boulder as he growled in agreement.

Boulder got up, walked further back into the shadows, and sniffed the area until he found a nearby cave and pond.

"We should hunt. I'm starving," he said to me, and he went off to hunt for some game.

Boulder eventually found a nice-sized deer and ate his fill. We shifted back, and I found some old clothes in one of the trees and returned to the cave. I washed off in the pond, dressed in old clothes I found in a tree, and lay down in the cave. I built a small fire to keep warm and drifted off to sleep.
