“What have you done!!,” I yelled at Rielle,raking my hands through my hair in frustration.

“Relax my darling. I have everything under control!,” she said calmly. Very calm that it infuriated me.

“What the f uck exactly is under control?. You brought the Crone here,without my knowledge!. You did all that to Amara!. You didn’t just stop at sending those photos!,you had to make her lose her job!. What do you think will happen if she goes back to Silverpine?,” I gulped down the bottle of whiskey quickly. Sighing heavily and wondering if Rielle being here on this mission with me isn’t a mistake.

“Rielle…,” I croaked out, but she put a finger on my l*ps,stopping me from saying anything.

“Luna!,” I groaned as Rielle’s hand left my b*dy immediately. Internally cursing as I saw who interrupted us. It was my b loody second in command.

“I have news. The Alpha has left Silverpine. He seems to be going to look for Amara,” He narrated and I sighed in frustration.

“We are too late,” I said to Rielle as he excused himself and left.

“He won’t find her easily. I told you!,I did all that to make her leave the city and go somewhere else. Lucien might decide he misses her and comes back to look for her and see,it’s already happening. Good news!,he won’t find her because she moved,” She announced excitedly.

“Well. Okay. That’s good news,” I said,sighing in relief.

“Sherry and her brother will be here tomorrow. Sherry’s proved herself useful in many ways. She’s pledged to support our cause,” She said and I stared at her,my brows furrowed in confusion.

“The Doctor?,” I asked.

I remembered her talking about a doctor in the human world, Amara’s supposed best friend. I had no idea she had a brother. Another wolf!..

“We need to do something about the Crone,” I pointed out again.

“Lucien has found Amara. They left together 1!!. What have you been doing!!. You’re supposed to keep him in Silverpine!!,” she yelled at me and I glared at her.

“How dare you pin this on me?. How am I supposed to know that he’d venture out to the human territory and find her!. He said he didn’t want to hear anything about her. He made it seem like he hated her!!,” I yelled at her.

“Oh,then whose fault is this?!. Mine?,” she fired back.

“I didn’t say it’s your fault!. I’m just…I don’t know Rielle. You always know what to do. What do we do?,” I asked,genuinly tired.

I suddenly feel like abandoning this mission and moving on,running far away from here because Lucien will find us and when he does, there’s no stopping what will happen.

“Calm down!. I’ll figure out something!,” she snapped and I sighed.

“We can stop them here,trap them before they reach Silverpine….”

“Luna,there’s news from Silverpine,” I gasped, fearing the worse as my second in command barged inside and announced,interrupting Rielle.

“What is it?,” she snapped at him..

“The Alpha….Lucien and Amara are in Silverpine,” he announced.
