The Rejected Luna: Daddy, Where is Mommy?
Chapter 16: You're very bad

“Moon Goddess, you're so cute.” Reva giggled. Ethlyn's ear quickly rose to wonder with whom her sister was talking. The last time she had seen her, she was crying over nothing, and now she was giggling. After a while, she inhaled the scent of the same pup and another scent with her. “Zordan, your niece is amazing.”

Cinder started pacing in Ethlyn's mind, sensing Roselet. She started convincing her human to walk out of the hellhole and meet her, asking her how she was feeling now.

“Thank you, Aunt Reva,” Roselet replied.

“Noooo!! Don't call me “AUNT.’ I'm too young for Aunt.” Reva said. “You call Zordan as Zordy and me as Aunt? That's unfair. Call me Reva.” She added.

“I look just three to five years older compared to you,” Reva said, on which Roselet giggled. It was when Reva observed the similarity between Roselet and her grandmother. She surely didn't look exactly like her grandmother, but her blue eyes and half of her facial structure were like her father's mother.

No one in the family looks like her dad's mother. Hell, no one was blessed with blue eyes in this generation.

“Mom, dad, and Ethlyn are at home. In that way, you can get to know them and spend some time with them.” Reva said to which Zordan nodded his head. He wasn't interested in knowing her family members, not after having an idea of what they did with Roselet. He was here just because Roselet dragged him here.

“I'm hungry. Can I get something to eat?” Roselet asked.

"Of course!l” Reva said and looked in the fruit basket. “Will you eat a banana?” She asked her. Roselet looked at the banana and made a face.

“The Bananas are brown. It's time to throw them away.” Roselet complained. Hearing her comment, Abigail quickly wanted to come out of the room and give an earful lecture to this princess, who was asking to throw bananas just because it was a little bit brown, but Christian signaled her to sit quietly and listen what was happening out and how Reva was going to handle that situation. But Reva didn't know how to handle this situation, especially with a pup.

"So, you don’t want to eat the banana?” Zordan asked, stepping in between the conversation, on which Roselet shook her head.

“Milk and cookies will be fine,” Roselet said and hoped for Ethlyn to come out of her room.

“How about Banana bread and milk?” Zordan offered.

“It sounds perfect,” Roselet responded.

Reva leaned toward Zordan and whispered, “I don’t know C of cooking.” She assumed that Zordan was going to ask her to prepare bread.

“Don’t worry; I know cooking. Since it's your house and your kitchen, you can help me with the ingredients, and in that way, we can spend some time in the kitchen as well, where I can teach you how to cook banana bread.”

Reva smiled and agreed with his proposal. She quickly gave 10/10 marks to him in her mind for his understanding skill.

“Can I watch it too?" Roselet asked.

“Sure, princess!”

"First, we have to peel our bananas and mash them together in a bowl,” Zordan explained the procedure.

"Oooohhh” Both girls cheered for him.

“Then we have to cream together some melted butter and brown sugar.”

"Ummm... sugar!! I love the sweet dish.” Roselet said.

“Me too,” Reva said.

“Then we have to add our butter and brown sugar with the bananas and then add two beaten eggs.” Zordan kept sharing his knowledge with them and found Reva staring at him without blinking her eyes. He silently smacked at her firm ass to bring her to the real world.

"What the...” Reva was about to say something about it.

"What happened?” He asked innocently, and even Roselet looked at her, wondering what had happened to her.

“Nothing.”

“Cool. So, now we have to take another bowl, add some flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in it and mix them well. After that, we have to mix both dry and wet ingredients together.”

“Nelina always puts some chocolate chips in the bread. Can you do the same?” Roselet asked. Zordan looked at Reva, silently asking whether they had chocolate chips at home.

"We, too, have chocolate chips at home,” Reva said and got a cup of chocolate chips and poured it into the bowl. After mixing it well, Zordan kept the batter in the oven to bake it. And used that time to clean the kitchen.

“Reva is surely a traitor. She never helps me in the kitchen, and today, she is helping her mate in the kitchen, learning how to cook bread with him.’ Abigail complained about it to her mate through the mind link.

I'm glad that she is helping him if she doesn't know how to cook.’ Christian responded. “Now she is going to enter into a new phase of her life, and it will be better that she will start accepting the new changes in her life.’

“Her mate is from Blood Moon Pack.’

'So?"

'So? Really, don't you know how the past of Ethlyn and the Alpha of the pack are connected? Moon Goddess, if... if Ethlyn’s pup...”

“Dare you to say any wrong words about my granddaughter.’ Christian warned, cutting her in between. Abigail didn't complete her sentence, sensing the seriousness in his tone.

While on the other side, Roselet sneaked from the kitchen, leaving the couple when she saw them playing a staring game. None of them was ready to blink their eyes. In normal eyes, she would have also played with them, but she was on a mission. So, she started looking for Ethlyn. She saw a dark room near the living room, so she slowly walked in. She looked here and there, and because of the light in the living room, she could see that there were a lot of books in that dark room.

“This is a library. I guess.’ She thought. She unzipped her purse and pulled out the phone that Calvin had given to her to talk with her as he couldn't mind link her. She switched on the flashlight and looked for the switch.

And finding it, she quickly switched on all the switches in the library, placing her phone in her purse. She turned around and found her mommy glaring at her, maybe because someone had replaced her darkness with light.

“Didn’t your parents teach you that you shouldn't walk here and there in someone else's house?” Ethlyn asked rudely to keep this little trouble away from her.

“Didn’t your parents teach you that you shouldn't speak rudely with a pup?” Roselet asked, getting angry. She believed that she was a well-behaved pup so that no one could get a chance to blame her daddy for not raising her well, and the moment Ethlyn asked that question, the smile that was on her lips, and she fumed in anger. "What the...” Ethlyn opened her mouth to scold her but couldn't find the right word. “This is my house, pup.”

“This is also my aunt Reva’s house.” Roselet came back with an answer quickly.

“Both of you, this is my house,” Christian said, hearing them fighting. Roselet and Ethlyn looked up and found Christian.

“Grandpa Christ, your daughter, is so rude,” Roselet complained about Ethlyn to Ethlyn’s father. “Finally, someone spoke the truth,” Abigail said and came walking behind Christian, looking at the pup whom Reva assumed was Zordan's daughter.

“Daddy taught me to speak the truth,” Roselet responded, assuming Abigail was her grandmother. "Oh, Really? And what did your mommy teach you to look around in someone else's house like a thief?” Ethlyn asked in a sarcastic way. All of a sudden, Roselet's face paled, and Zordan growled at Ethlyn. Reva quickly grabbed his arms because she felt like her mate might attack her elder sister. “You're very bad,” Roselet said with teary eyes and ran away from there.
