My eyes widened in fear as I walked into the room to see the Alpha’s father in the pool of his own blood my l*ps quivered in pannick and my hands shook in fear as I bent down and tried to wake him up.

Carlos the Alpha’s father had been nothing but nice to me and seeing him like that freaked the living day lights out of me .

“How could you even think for a second that I could kill your own father Xavier ?” I asked as my voice broke at the edge. Everything felt like a nightmare at that moment my hands were sweaty and the burn in my chest grew worse.

At that moment I realized that the man standing in front of me was nothing like the sweet loving man I fell inlove with or maybe all of that was just a facade to get to me.

“Did you even love me Xavier!! ” I cried out as tears rolled out of my eyes .

“At this moment loving and having anything to do with a murderer like you is making me sick I gave you a life Emerald, no one liked you in the pack it was my word against the rest of them I had plans for us but you betrayed me thinking it was right to end my father’s life” he said in one go and I hugged my self.

“I did not kill him I swear, I would never do something like that … ” I trailed off in hurt.

“I saw you kill him myself Emerald” Lina said as she smirked in my direction.

“Xavier” I tried to go close but he moved backwards in anger .

“Call the soldiers” he said and I stared at him in shock.

“Xavier please don’t do anything stupid please” I cried as my heart pounded crazily against my chest my hands went over to my baby bump which was already due, my delivery date was just around the corner and all of this was stressing me badly.

“Take this woman out of the pack house” he said and my eyes widened in pannick as I cried.

“Xav … Xavier please … Don’t do this” I cried in pannick as he walked out of the room into the open space.

The pack omegas who went around doing their business stopped to see what was happening.

“Do not touch me !” he raised his voice in anger.

“I hereby ban you Emerald from entering the pack house you would not be allowed to have any form of interaction with members of the pack, you are stripped from your rights as the future Luna of this pack ” he said and my heart squezed In hurt.

I could hear the light whimpering of my wolf in my head as it cried Nala has been my closest friend and companion ever since I shifted on my eighteenth birthday.

“Mate is sending us away ” Nala said and tears rolled out of my eyes.

“I do not want to see you anywhere near the pack house you would live in the outhouse until you have the baby after which you would be banished from the blood moon pack” he said and I stared at him speechlessly.

” I will make sure you regret your existence Emerald, you are to be seen as the lowest ranking werewolf in the pack with no single right ” each word that proceeded out of his mouth did nothing to ease the pain that jabbed my fragile heart .

I couldn’t help but imagine what would have happened if I was not carrying his child, he would have let his soldiers to physically assault me. Pain, shock and despair was all I felt as the soldiers led me out of the pack house I was led to the outhouse at the extreme end of the pack Immediately I got into the dusty room, I sat down and burst into tears I could feel my wolf break down as I hugged myself close. He hurt us, he took her word over ours, how did I even bring myself to love the wrong man. The memories, the sweet things everything was a lie the harsh reality did nothing but break me further.

“Everything is going to be alright baby, daddy does not deserve us I am going to be here for you always” I said to my baby as I rubbed my tummy softly the baby moved in my womb making me gasped in pain.

“I’m so sorry I gave him the opportunity to hurt us I’m so sorry… ” I said over and over again as I cried.

I heard the sound of the wind outside and it wasn’t long before an heavy downpour began the roof of the house was a bit faulty due to the absence of a human being for a long time.

I stared as the house began to get wet from the rain drops.

“We have to clean the house now baby” I said and stood up I looked around trying to find something to stop the house from getting flooded Immediately I got up, a sharp pain shot through my b*dy from my stomach down to my legs, my waist felt heavy and my legs could no longer carry me .

“Nala I can’t move” I cried out to my wolf as tears rolled out of my eyes .

“Breath Emerald I think the baby is coming, we need help” my wolf said making my heart heavy.

How do I even ask for help? It was late already and everyone I knew stayed very far from the out house.

“Aaaahhh ……! ” I cried as another pain shot from my stomach to my legs I tried the breathing technique and none of it seemed to be working, I opened my mouth and tried to breath.

“Xavier !” I called as I felt the hot liquid rush down my legs, when I realize that I was going to do this all by myself broke me beyond repair I have to be strong. Sitting on the floor I cried as I tried to do it on my own with every push the memories of his hurtful words and accusation burned my heart.

Beads of sweat rolled down my forehead followed by the hot tears that left my eyes uncontrollably, I pushed for a long time all by myself. It wasn’t long before I heard the cry of my baby, I felt the urge again and continued to push on my own by the time the another baby came out my eye felt drowsy and I felt very weak .

“I promise to protect the both of you with every fiber in my b*dy I will not let anyone hurt you ” I said over and over again as I cried.

I could feel the liquid gush out of my b*dy . Grabbing hold of the chair my hands went numb and my head felt heavy.

“Xavier …! ” I called as I felt life leave my b*dy.
