“I’m sorry that I scared you” I said to Rachel Immediately the team came to our rescue.
She didn’t say anything and I could not help but worry if she was thinking about the colour of my eyes when my wolf form took over.
She was not supposed to see me in my weakest moment, how do I even explain to her why that happened to me. Rachel didn’t bring it up infact she was more concerned about my health than the fact that my eyes changed color.

got out of the dark room and she had her hand on mine as we walked towards the site together.

about that sir, we had no idea that the both if you were stuck in there for hours” the engineer apologised as he walked us towards our car.
“You should have been more careful, calling someone else to replace you would have been better. That place was dusty and he is allergic to dust” Rachel said and he bowed in embarrassment…

“Keep your apology to yourself” she bursted angrily as she walked in front.
“I’m sorry sir” he said once again and I gestured for him to leave.
“He didn’t know I had phobia for dark places Rachel and he has apologised” I said when we finally got to our penthouse.
“Does that change the fact that I was scared to death?” she asked as her voice broke after the edge.
“You look almost lifeless Xavier and I stood there unable to do anything” she said and

“We are not done talking Rachel …” I said and she stood rooted on the spot, refusing to turn towards me.
“I have feelings for you and I am not going to pretend to like I don’t” I said and she turned to me in shock.
“Xavier you….” she trailed speechlessly.
“Yes Rachel, I know there are a lot of reasons why we can’t be together…” I trailed as my heart squeezed in hurt.
“You have a wife XAVIER, except from the fact that I don’t want to get involved in an extra marital affair with a married man, we are business partners and this is supposed. to be strictly professional” she said and I held her hand.
“Don’t you feel it Rachel I’m going insane because of you, I’m unable to act on my feelings for you…” I said and I could heard the uneasy sound of her breath.
Her heart beat crazily against her chest as I bent my head sideways and captured her plump pink l*ps in a k*ss, she stood rooted on the spot and I moved away only for her to walk into my arms and pull me back into the k*ss.
We where so deep into the k*ss, we keep exploring our self as our l*ps moved in sync as we explored each other’s l*ps Rachel tasted so familiar I could remember this taste even in my sleep.
She tasted just like the women that hunted every part of my life for the past five years, the woman that broke my heart and left nothing, the woman that left me for another
man.
I broke the k*ss immediate shocked and I stared at her in shock as my heart beat crazily against my chest, I refuse to believe this.
Maybe I’m hallucinating or maybe the after effect of mg phobia for the dark rooom, but one thing I’m sure of is that she is the one.

“As much as I want this, we can’t take chances Xavier trusts me and we need to maintain that no matter what” he said as he ran his fingers in her hair with a smirk.
“Smart man I have always known you would never disappoint I can’t wait for you to take over and reigns the pack, I can’t wait for us to start our family together and be happy” she said rubbing his chest sweetly.
“That is only going to happen if you keep your part of the deal, that is getting Elroy out of the way putting an end to Carlos which you have done and a lot more just to make sure we actualise our dreams” he said k*ssing her bare back.
“I know I really love you it hurts me to keep up
th all of this but I’m willing to do it just to make sure you are happy, I Don’t wanna keep pretending like I love Xavier or his worthless son” she bursted angrily.
“Leave the kid out of whatever grudges you hold towards his parents he is cool kid and he doesn’t cause trouble” he said and she raised her eyebrows.
“Don’t tell me you suddenly feel pity towards the kid, he is not our son and never will be” Lina bursted angrily.
“I’m not saying he is our son, I’m just saying you should be careful with the say you act towards him. The last one was too suspicious” he said and she sat on his lap.
“I’m sorry JAYDEN, I will be careful next time” she said k*ssed his l*ps.
“It is okay Lina” he said with an evil smirk on his face.
