“What are you

“I needed to get water” I said pointing towards the jug on the table and he lay back.
“I thought you need my help” he said and I smiled.
“No it’s nothing serious baby” I said and he laid back on the bed.
I sighed in relief as I hid the key and went back to bed, he moved close and k*ssed my shoulders.
“Where do you get this much stamina from?” I asked teasingly as he ran his hands on my b*dy.
“If you are tired there is no pressure sweetheart” he said and I chuckled.
“Shhhhhhh, just put it in……” I said and he raised my legs and went in with a hard thrusts.
We went on for a while before trying to get some sleep in the wee hours of the morning. The next morning Xavier had to leave for early for something very important, I tried to find out what it was but he wouldn’t even tell me.
“Hey babies” I said as I walked into the boys room.

“Have you
heard from Aunt Penny?” Damien asked clueless about the fight between. Penny and I.
“She Is fine, and am pretty sure she missed you too” I said and he ga

It was not a school day so after making breakfast for the boys, I decided to get some work done before going on my mission with the keys to Xavier’s study room.
Who knows what I would find in there.
managed to sneak my way into the study room and bolt the door behind me. It was so dark in there so I switched on my phone touch, I began to look for anything important that I can find.
Xavier is indeed a smart man, he did not have anything related to his pack in the study

room. Did he suspect anyone in his pack that made him careful? I wondered.
I made my way out of the study room in disappointment. There most be something wrong somewhere why didn’t I find anything useful in that study room.
“Rachel” Aunt Maggie called and I turned.
“Aunt Maggie” I said as I forced a smile.
“You are very beautiful this morning and glowing” she said teasingly.
My mind went back to the naughty night with Xavier and my cheeks heated in a blush.
“What are you up to? mind joining me let’s check up on the pack members” she said and froze.
“The…” she trailed.
“What I mean is, if you would like to go on a stroll with me?” she said politely. Maybe she thinks I am human, so she decided to correct herself before I got suspicious of anything. How thoughtful of her I thought as I felt the urge to laugh.
We walked out together as she drove the car, we visited places like the pack clinic and a few beautiful sites in his pack.
“You remind me so much of Xavier’s Ex’ she said smiling.
“Lina ?” I asked on purpose.
“No…not Lina. We are not found of each other” she said with a frown on her face and I knew she was reffering to Lina.
“I did not even approve her relationship with Xavier. He moved on too fast from Emerald, it made everything super suspicious” she said and I fought the urge to sigh.
“Emerald might have been a lovely girl” I said as we walked together.
“Very lovely with a smile that lit up the darkness dear, she was the life of the pack” she said in a sad tone.
“Innocent people don’t last long aunt Maggie, people tra mple on them, people rip them off everything that ever mattered” I said and she stared at me calmly.
“You are right” she said and I looked away.
We went back to the mansion and I decided to call Penny.
“Bestie” she said and I sighted in relief immediately she picked up the call.

“Thank goodness you finally picked your calls, I thought I lost you” she said sniffing
back tears.
“I called you Penny, it could be work related” I said and she fell silent on the other end.
“I’m
sorry, I did not mean to sleep with Blake. We just couldn’t stop” she said and I sighed.
“It’s just so awkward Penelope, I can’t bring myself to accept that, my best friend and Dad are a thing and are doing naughty things in the bedroom” I said and she chuckled.
“Are you laughing?” I asked with a frown on my face.
“Of course not” she said as she laughed.
“You are laughing, I can clearly hear you” I said and she laughed harder.
“I miss you” she said and I sighed.
“I miss you more” I said smiling.
“How is my champ doing?” she asked curiously.
“He misses you too” I said and she sighed.
“When will you guys be coming back?” she asked.
“Soon” I muttered under my breath.
I stopped talking when I saw someone standing at front of
my
door.
“Can I call you back bestie??” I asked and she fell silent.
“Is everything okay?” she asked in concern.
“Everything is fine babe” I said and ended the call.
“What are you doing in my room Lina ?” I asked with arms folded against my chest.
“Your room? do you even hear yourself speak right now? what stu pid room are you talking about!” she bursted angrily.
“You know what? I don’t have the strength for your nonsense drama don’t tempt me I said and she sighed.
“What do you want from this pack Rachel!” she asked angrily.
“What nonsense are you talking about?” I fired back in the same tone.

“You think I don’t know you ain’t human? you are werewolf. What I want to know are your intentions towards this pack, what do you want from us” she asked and I laughed.
I knew it the minute I was attacked that day, it was Lina’s handwork she was up to no good again and I was not mistaken,
“Get out of my room and stop spewing rubbish!” I said and she stared at me in disbelief.
“You can’t just storm our lives and start thinking you have the upper hand Rachel, watch your back!” she bursted angrily before making her way out of my room.
I understood Lina’s fears, but this is just the beginning of those worries because I am just about to get started. Every single one of them will pay for what they did to me.
? XAVIER POV?
“I sent the documents to the Alpha as you requested” Jayden bowed as he dropped the letter of response on my table.
“Have a seat” I said pointing towards the empty chair in front of me, Jayden bowed and sat down calmly.
“I will be announcing my divorce with Lina soon” I said and he nodded.
“Whatever decision you make, you have my support” he said and I smiled.
“You have been a great friend Jay, not just a friend you have been a brother to me” I said. and he smiled.
“You have also been nothing but a brother to me Alpha, after I lost my family you gave me everything I have today…” he said and I smiled.
One of things I like about Jayden is his humblness at all times, we talked about business for a while before I permitted him to leave. I got to my mansion and the boys welcomed me excitedly.
“Thanks boys, where is Rachel?” I asked and she walked our from the kitchen.
“Hey baby” she said and he k*ssed both sides of her cheeks.
“You look stunning” I said and she laughed.
“I’m just coming out of the kitchen” she said gesturing towards her dress.
“You will still look beautiful to me in a potato sack” I said and the boys burst out

“Potato sack, that is a lie daddy” Derrick said innocently and I opened and closed my mouth like a fish.
“Update your lines, they can’t even convince your son” she teased and I chuckled.
“We have maids around to do the kitchen works, don’t stress your self’ I said and she smiled.
“I took some time off work Xay, I need the excersise” she said and I nodded as we walked in.
The table was set for dinner and after dinner she decided to tuck the kids in bed before
joining me.
“Hey” I said and she looked at me.
“What?” she asked curiously.
“Will you be free tommorow?” I asked and she nodded her head.
“Join me for a meeting with some important personalities. I’m supposed to go with a
date” I said finally dropping the news about the meeting.
“I
guess you used to go there with Lina” she said and I sighed..
“Lina and I are no longer together Rachel’ I said and she stared at me calmly.
“Are you coming with me?” I asked nervously.
