“Have you heard about werewolves?” Xavier asked and I pretended to be in shock as he explained what the pack and the werewolf realm was all about.

You did not deserve any of that considering the fact that you have developed trust issues after what happened with Xavier, we should have been sensible enough to come out clean, for that I sincerely apologise” he said and I stared at him as my heart ached.
“Penelope is my best friend and you are my father, the relationship makes me feel sick already dad. But then I can’t stop the both of you from genuine happiness, if you both. make each other happy then it is my duty to support you” I said and he smiled.

“How are you? and the kids” he asked in concern.
I stopped typing in my laptop as I stared at dad calmly.
“I am fine, I have never been more fine father. It gladdens my heart to see him in so much pain” I said and he raised his eyebrows.
“For a moment I thought you forgot everything Xavier put you through. You became so clingy that I got scared” Dad said while staring at me.
“You have no reasons to worry about me, I still have my head in the game and it is not leaving anytime soon” I said and dad chuckled.
“What do you intend to do about your son’s?” Dad asked in concern.
“Nothing, Damien will get over it fast because up until now he doesn’t know Xavier is his biological father. I am more concerned about Derrick who has lived with his father since birth. What if my son gets to hate me after finding out about what I did for revenge” I said and dad sighed.
“Hee will be hurt at first, but with time he will get used to it” dad said and I smirked.
We talked about random things for a while and the knock on the door interrupted our conversation and Gabriel Fernandez walked in..
“Fernandez” Father said as they shook hands professionally.

“Sorry am late” he said as he sat down on the empty chair at the front of my desk.
“You wanted to talk about invading Xavier’s pack” he asked smiling.
“Invading? I don’t like the sound of that” Dad said and I sighed.
“I can’t keep up with the love game anymore father, Gabriel thinks it is best if we link up with other people whom Carlos has hurt and bring the pack to the ground” I said and dad turned to Gabriel.
“You of all people should know we can’t just rise up and start looking for enemies. The red blood pack is a powerful pack for goodness sake, it will take the best of soldiers to bring them down” dad said and I turned to Gabriel.
“What do you think Fernandez ?” I asked and he smirked.
“I am with the opinion that we go ahead with our plans Rachel, time waits for no one, the more we wait the more the pack grows” he said and that seem to make more sense.
Gabriel was right, the more we wait the more powerful they become.

“Xavier” Lina said excitedly as I made my way into her chambers.
“You did not knock Alpha XAVIER, what if I was n*ked” she said teasingly.
“I apologise for badging without notice” I said and she smiled.
“Anything for you Alpha, you of all people should know I easily forgive when it comes to you” she said as she tried to run her fingers on my arms.
“Stop it Lina” I said and took two steps away from her.
“Why do you act like we are not married Alpha Xavier ? it hurts me, it breaks my heart each time you choose Rachel over me. You have no idea what that woman is capable of she said and I sighed.

“Lina you spend money on luxirous trips and beauty products You neglected the pack and which even resulted to abusing my son physically. I don’t want to be a part of this anymore” I said and dropped the divorce papers on the table.
“I knew this is when you tell me you are no longer interested. You think Rachel can handle this pack the way I do?” she asked mockingly
“Do you even love Rachel or you are with her because she reminds you of Emerald” she asked and that hit me.
“That is non of your business, I will be asking my lawyer to pick the divorce papers once it’s signed” I said and tried to leave her room.
“I will not sign then” she said with finality in her tone.
“Lina…” I trailed.
“I will not sign these papers, Alpha I cannot loose you” she said and our eves met
for brief second before I looked away.
“I will rather die than see Rachel laugh last” she said and for some reason I knew Lina meant what she just said.
“Lina, you must sign those papers or we would take it the hard way” I said and she stared at me without a single word
