“Aaaaaaaaaaaah” he yelped in pain as I ripped his heart out I stared at his lifeless b*dy as he lay dead on the floor still in his wolf form. Just like every other night I couldn’t sleep due to the nightmares that hunted me I left the pack house at the early hours of the morning for a run and that is how bumped into a group of rogues and the rest are history.

Walking towards the pack house different thoughts filled my mind I wonder if Rachel received the flowers I sent her getting to the pack house, I went straight to my room to get ready for the day.

“You slept outside last night” Lina said as she stared at me with her arms folded.

“I did not sleep outside Lina” I said calmly and she glared daggers at me.

“You do not have any right to tell me when and where I should sleep, I have told you I slept in this room, can you just let this go already?? I bursted angrily.

“Beside, when I made you be my Luna, I said that we will never be like a real couple. You are asking for too much” I said obviously pis sed.

“Xavier I am your wife, I deserve an explanation we have been married for five years the least you could do is try to make me feel like your wife” she said and I ignored her as I walked towards the bathroom.

Immediately I got downstairs I met her talking to Derrik her eyes met mine and she smiled at him.

“How are you?” I asked and he smiled.

“I like my new school Daddy, I met a new friend yesterday” he said happily.

“A friend?” I asked curiously after all I had sent him to a mixed school with both

humans and werewolves. The school was currently the best in the country and I wanted my son to get the best things life has to offer.

“What is the name of this friend of yours?” I asked and he smiled happily.

“His name is….” Derrick trailed and stopped talking as Jayden walked in.

“Good morning Alpha” he bowed and Derrick turned to him.

“Good morning Uncle Jayden’ he said and got down from my arms.

“Good morning champ, daddy is almost late for work we need to get going” he said and Derrick frowned cutely.

As I was typing on my laptop after my last meeting, Jayden walked in with the flowers I ordered.

“You ordered another bouquet of flowers, I thought you sent some yesterday” he asked. curiously

I do not understand why the moon goddess chose the cruelest man to have ever existed as my mate. A man that rejected me without a second thought and even accused me of murdering his father hearing his voice now gave me nothing but chills. It is been years. and my wolf has not even recovered from his betrayal.
