“I can’t believe you were serious when you said you will be joining me to get my wedding dress” I told Xavier,,as we walked out of the pack house together.

“You should know by now that I don’t make empty promises, I want to make up for all the times I hurt you unintentionally” he said and I smiled.

“That was in the past my love” I said and he smiled in my direction.

“I want those bad memories to remain in the past. Creating new ones to replace every bad one in your head” he said and and I smiled.

“That is beautiful my love” I stated and he smiled in my direction. We got into the car and he drive to the designers place himself.

My mind went back to aunt Maggie and I began to contemplate if I should tell him or not, hiding it meant trouble, but telling him without prove also meant trouble. Jax’s mom has told me about the bad things Aunt Maggie has done, she might even be his mom’s killer and the woman continued f ucking with Carlos up until the man’s death. She has done a lot of things that is enough to call her an enemy. But the truth is that, she have been smart enough to cover her tracks perfectly. How then do we fish her out as the culprit?

“I need to talk to your mom” I told her, and she gestured towards their house. We walk into the house, and I see Lina was busy setting the table.

“I don’t know…I just need to speak to someone about it” I reply, and Lina stared at me without saying anything.

“I think you should tell Xavier without the evidence, he has a right to know.” Lina stated calmly.

“But….” I trailed in shock.

“There is no buts to this Emerald. If you and Xavier trust each other enough and you want to get married, telling each other things like this should not be a problem” Jax’s mother said and I bit my lower l*p nervously.
