Chapter 23. Subtitle: wait for me in France. ***general POV*** The weather was cold as alpha Ryker sat in a hotel room in New York. She opened the door wide and the siren seer who had come to see me the other time I woke up came in with her small brown bag. She walked towards the side of the bed and sat down. I also sat down besides her on a chair. Lulu and Kayla glanced at me and I nodded before they joined me. "are you ready for it? I can only help you contact one person.” She said and I nodded. "Here is the crystal. Put your palms over mine!" She ordered and I did as she said, placing my hands on hers that were on the blue crystal ball. "who will you want me to help you contact? Twenty more seconds.. " I heard the sirens voice in my head. "I need you to wait for me at the human world. I would come find you...ummmmmn wait for me in France. I will come find you myself. We have a huge job to finish.. " I muttered. "please tell me are you fine?... " Was the last thing I heard him say before our connection was cut short. I gnashed my teeth in annoyance. I still wanted to talk to him for a while more. "can't you please give me thirty more seconds? " I asked the siren and she shook her head negatively. I closed my eyes in annoyance. Somehow I missed him. A lot. "here is a human and soul seeking compass. It will lead you to whoever you want to find without a lot of suffering. Is there something i can help you two with to repay you two? * I asked and the Two duo looked at each other then back at me. "we are glad to help you phoenix. We don't need you to repay the favor. But we would certainly tell you if we need your help in the future. We also ask for your alliance and permission to come over to your territory if we want and need something there. Is that okay with you? * Kayla asked. "sure. You two are precious to me and I owe you my life. I consider you as my friends and will do anything to help you. Do not hesitate to come to me when you need something. I owe you my life remember?” I said and smiled. Lulu smiled back and hugged me. "I'm gonna miss you.." She mumbled and I smiled. "I'll miss you too lulu. I will spend a lot of time with you once all is settled. " I mumbled. "we better take you to the airport now. Or else you will miss your flight to France." Kayla mumbled and I nodded. Don't get this whole Thing twisted. The fact that we supernatural beings live in isolation doesn't mean we don't have all the gadgets normal human have. We also have them living around us. But some of us choose to live in the jungle. We still have planes, cars and cellphones. Although we don't really need them. "let's go. I'll drive." Lulu muttered and I followed her out. "Here's you cellphone. Don't forget to give me a call once your free.” She added and handed a small cell phone over to me I took it, throwing it into my hood pocket. We both exited the room. *** Ryker's POV*** I had barely lay down to sleep when a mild female voice came to head. "Ry..Ryker." I heard her voice in mumbled Although I didn't know her much I knew it her voice. I was shocked as I sat upon the bed upright. "alpha Ryker.... This is me... Melanie." I heard her stuttered. I Quickly looked around to be sure if she was not in the room at the moment. "I hate to say this now but I need you now. I have a huge burden on my shoulders that I need you to help me offload.” The voice continued. "what... Melanie is that you? How did you get into my mind? Where are you? Are you hurt? Please tell me... * I threw questions at her in a sentence. "I need you to wait for me at the human world. I would come find you...ummmmmn wait for me in France. I will come find you myself. We have a huge job to finish." I heard her mumble instead of answering my question. "please tell me you are fine.. I panicked and yelled. But I didn't here her voice again. "Melanie! Hey Melanie... Don't f*cking leave me hanging.. Are you there? I asked but I didn't get a reply. I immediately stood up from the bed and took out the cell phone I had just got. I immediately booked myself a flight to France. I had to make it quick in other not to loose my mind. Zack was jumping up and down in my mind in glee. "I just heard her voice... She is fine man.. Let's go fine her.." He kept rejoicing and I closed my eyes. He was disturbing me.
