***Melanie's POV***

"I guess this place is still the same. Are all of you just going to keep quiet..

He uttered and there was no word

"I'll play. "

I heard a man's voice loudly and I turned to look at who it was.

It was a man who looked like he was in his late 30s and looked hargared yet handsome that had agreed to challenge him.

I stopped at my track to look at the people around as they gasped and recoiled talking to themselves

What was happening?

Why was everyone afraid of the so called tiger?

This was just getting interesting and I was damn curious,so I took a seat just miles away form where he sat as to get a clearer view of him.

The guy who had agreed to play a game I had no idea of walked to the opposite seat and sat down.

He faced tiger with a smirk.

Tiger didn't hesitate to return the gesture as he purred himself a drink which had being set on the table before he arrived and took a gulp from it.

He kept the mug on the table and took back his pipe.

"you know the rules young man. You loose, you get a finger cut off.. You still in? *

He growled.

"Let's play old man. I've got other things to take care of other than you. "

The guy replied with a scowl on his face.

A man walked up to them shortly with card and placed them on the table.

I thought these types of games were only played to win money and assets?

I was confused.

I watched with Keen interest asthe card were spread and the game began.

I didn't understand what was going on since I had never played such a game before.

The crowd slowly began to surround the two players and I quickly stood up and squeezed myself in. I quickly walked besides him and bend my head like the others as if I was watching the game while I was only trying to get a glimpse of his forehead.

It wasn't that clear but I could see it.

It was him!

I slowly stood aside when I saw him glared at me from the corner of his eyes.

Was I in trouble?

I heard a man gasped and I took a look at the man who just talked and then back at the game.

I couldn't understand a thing but from the looks of how the people cheered and talk I could tell that the Vampire aka tiger already won.

I heard a shriek and I looked at the opponent who was trying hard to fight of the people holding him but couldn't.

He was held down and his hand was place on the table.

"no don't... You can do this please don't."

The man shrieked but it was too late.

An axe was used to cut off his largest finger.

I couldn't stand it as I closed my eyes with a loud gasp.

All that was happening the while the Vampire king sat just quietly watching with a cold gaze as the assault was done to the man.

I heard cries of the man and murmurs of the people around.

His blood was spilled all over the place.

It really was a totally dangerous and disgusting place to be at and I pray never to come to such place again

I quickly walked back to my chair and sat down breathing heavily.

I sighed as I hide behind the building.

I was currently trailing the Vampire.

Behind his back.

I was too afraid of him to even face him.

I started walking behind him again slowly so he wouldn't notice when he stopped again,i quickly hid behind another building and glanced from the corner.

He threw his pipe on the floor and trashed it before turning to take a glance behind him as if he knew someone was following him.

I quickly hid behind the wall properly to avoid being seen by him but when I glanced back again he was gone.

Huh!

Where'd he go?

I walked to the middle and sited two different routes.

I glanced at both of them both there was no sight of him

I scoffed.

How did he walk away so fast?

As if the wind blew him out from nowhere I felt a huge pull,and then a cold metal on my neck. My eyes widened as he grabbed me fiercely as if he would kill me any moment.

"who are you and who send you? "

He asked calmly but I knew he was deadly.

I sulked in my breath lacking what to say or do.

"I said who the f*ck are you? "

He snapped and I felt the knife cuts throughy neck slightly.

I gasped in pain and bite my lips.

I better talk.

"I... I. I'm.. Please don't kill me vampire. *

I begged him and I heard his breathing fastened.

"no one from this part of the world knows I'm a vampire.. Who the f*ck are you... Tell me! Werewolf? fo? witch? phoenix? Speak now or I'll kill you! *

He snapped in a growl and I brought my hands to my neck trying hard to loosened his arms form my neck.

"so your from the family.. What the f*ck do they want from me?

He growled and my eyes widened.

I didn't no when I had used my hands which had the jet mark on them.

Now he's discovered me.

This is really dangerous.

I really should have brought the alpha along.

"grand mother.. I mean latisha send me to find you...

She passed away a month ago and told me to find and bring you along to help revive the dragon before the witch turns him to her toy.. "

I managed to say and next I was thrown to the floor hard that I hurt my hands.

I touched my bleeding neck and coughed out in relieve trying to breath normal.

"so the b*tch send you.. Go to hell.

I quit being a vampire for centuries and you don't f*cking have the guts to come to me and spat rubbish.

Do not come to me again or you have yourself to blame when I send you to the afterword."

He uttered and turned around, walking away.

"no please wait. But Kai.. The dragon.. He's already being used and if nothing is done he will be completely deadly and we may loose our home to witches..."

I cried out trying to stand to my feet.

he stopped right on his tracks.

"1 don't f*cking care about any dragon or anyone.. You can all die for all I care..

He snapped and continued walking away.

I was stubborn and quickly stood to my feet running after him.

I got hold of his arms and pulled him to stop but then he turn with and unexplainable speed and gave me a kick in the stomach.

I fell backwards because I had completely loosed stamina.

I had almost hit the floor when a hands supported me form falling.

I looked up and stared at the person,Catching glimpse of the alpha king.

Didn't he leave already.

"you stay here.."

He muttered and then stood up walking towards the Vampire who was watching us with a cold face. Ryker gave him a hard punch but it was held mid-air by the Vampire.

The vampire then twisted the hands of the alpha king and he growled in pains as his eyes turned pure black.

I could see clearly as he shifted to his black wolf and and jumped right at the vmapire,sinking his canines right at his neck. I heard the old vampire also growled as his eyes changed red and his fangs elongate.

I couldn't keep my eyes shut anymore as I slowly gave in to unconsciousness due to the pain I was feeling in my body.
