Kendall sighed as she sat up from the bed, it was morning and she had being in the hospital for two days with her mother coming in and out with the maid and other people who work in their mansion bringing in her food and taking care of her.

She didn't talk much to her mother and her mother didn't do so also, noticing the strange behavior of her daughter after the accident.

Melanie never offered to talk back at her mother or even act disrespectful towards her, heck she never even voice out her opinions even if she was being deprieved of her rights.

She only nods her head and says okay then go on to do what she is told but now she has managed to even laugh at her mother for the first time.

It sure is very confusing for the rich woman to understand.

"miss Kendall, your manager and other Co workers send their greetings from the fashion house. They initially wanted to come visit you but we're not allowed in by the hospital.”

A maid said to Kendall who only nodded her head.

The maid walked out of the room and the door opened shortly with two people coming it, it was unexpected but also surprising for Kendall to see both of them.

Although she felt hurt after seeing her sister and ex fiancee but it couldn't level up to the hatred and disgust she felt towards them.

Tanya was carrying a bouquet of flowers.

Kendall scoffed.

Josh only walked besides Kendall and both of them had dull faces on.

Kendall relaxed more on the bed in a seated position to see how exactly the both of them were going to act and talk to her.

Josh had an unexplainable face on after hearing what Kendall had just said.

"I remember sis. I had dated this hot hunk who is an actor for three months, but then you also liked him and want out with him behind back, I kinda found out and we sort things out didn't we? Now why are you confusing me?

And what cause my accident was me being drunk,i had drank a lot and partied it up that I drove recklessly and had an accident.

As for this guy over here, I have no idea who he is..."

Kendall stared at herself in the mirror as she smiled.

She had changed a lot after the accident and had found a new courage and beauty in herself. Her hair that was previously long and black which was her signature hairstyle she used as a model. But now she had cut it off and dyed her hair in red,it was now in a short Bob.

She got a new tattoo of a red phoenix right on her belly bottom.

Of course that's what she was, a phoenix.

Her whole persona had changed drastically due to her new found self.

One last glance in the mirror and she left the room.

She came out of the door and alighted the stairs of her room down to the very large sitting room. Her father should be back from his business trip by now.

She quickly walked over to the dinning table as she heard slow merry chats of people going on there.

"good morning sunshine.."

She happily greeted and took her seat on the table staring around for those seated.

Her mother...

Her sister...

And of course her father whom she haven't seen in a long time.

Her mother who was biting a sandwich had her mother hang open as she stared at Kendall.

Her sister and father were utterly shocked.

"Kendall what the heck happened to your hair? *

Her mother rasped.

She rolled her eyes.

"sis.. Your hair was your signature in your modelling career. Why the f*ck did you cut it off?

And you even dyed it red!”

Tanya yelled.

Kendall looked at her sharply.

"who said I can't cut or dye my hair? Huh? You dye your hair all the time Tanya, did I ever tell you it was bad or ask you why you did it?

I dyed it so what? I don't have time to talk all morning, I'm hungry.. "

She snapped and took a fork, taking a huge pieces of fried meat from the large center tray and shoved in it in her mouth,chewing it noisily.

"have you gone insane you brat?

Your sister was just being worried for you and your job what the hell have gotten into you huh? Honey I hope you can see this and believe me now? "

Her mother snapped at her father who dropped his knife and adjusted his glasses.

"I was gone for some months and I heard that you had gone crazy after an accident huh? What exactly has gotten into you?

Her father snapped.

Kendall chewed the meat noisily and dropped her fork angrily.

Kendall was not even moved now that she had a new found courage in her soulmate.

After all, Melanie was not new to betrayals and rejections.

Her sister asked.

Kendall snapped and stood up from the chair, walking towards the exit of the dinning room.
