Chapter 13 A Majestic Lion and a Cunning White Bunny 

Yanice was utterly confused. She returned to the Pierce Residence with sadness and guilt but was too scared to face Sidney, so she stayed hidden in her room, afraid of getting caught doing something wrong. Even on school days, she would coop up in her room continuously.

“Old Mrs. Pierce, you look much better every day. It seems Miss Morgan’s geomancy changes worked,” said Howard. 

She, too, felt the difference herself, having more energy without dizziness anymore. Indeed, Christine is truly impressive. 

Sidney also took the time to visit her upon hearing that her health was gradually improving. 

“Sid, doesn’t my complexion look much better? You should believe in metaphysics by now.” Linda teased and tried to convince him, but he did not change his mind.

The guilty assistant quickly put his phone away, signaling Christine to talk later. He tried to act as if nothing had happened. 

“I think it’s a fair deal,” she responded with a serious face. “Furthermore, it’s not your money, so why would you report me?”
