Virgil awoke to a burning pain in his chest. He opened his mouth to scream but he couldn’t get enough breath. He struggled to breath through the pain in his chest as silent tears ran down his face. Finally, once Virgil had gotten more used to the waves of pain, he open his eyes again. He found himself in the same room as before, though the room was empty of Roman. He shifted slightly in the chair, trying to loosen the restraints where they pressed tightly against his wrists and ancles but all he managed to achieve was to cause his chest to throb more. Virgil watched in horror as blood soaked through the bandage over where Roman carved into him. His head spun and he slowly sank into darkness.
