The princess closed her eyes out of fear and waited for Anja’s fist to hit her.

She then felt the ground shake and quake so much so that she could the birds high up in the trees above her flying away as tree moved about due to the shaking ground.

The princess then slowly opened up her eyes and saw Anja staring her in the eye with his glowing eyes.

She then looked down and saw Anja’s fist on a smoking hole on the ground, her widened upon seeing that.

Anja couldn’t bring himself harm her, even in the sad and broken state he was in.

Anja’s eyes then stopped glowing and tears began to fall through them. sᴇaʀᴄh thᴇ FɪndNovᴇl.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

He rose up his fist, looking at them with shame in his eyes.

“What was I about to do?” said Anja speaking with his normal voice, unable to believe that he was blind so much by rage that he was willing to go as far as to take a life.

Then looked at the princess and saw fear along with horror in them, they looked as though they were staring in to the eyes of a monster.

Anja then slowly walked away from the princess feeling nothing but shame and guilt over his actions and the fact that he was about to kill the princess.

Anja then placed his hands on his head and then fell on his knees with tear still falling down from his eyes.

His eyes then began to glow once again before he screamed out with a thunderous voice.

Then as Anja screamed lightning rained down from the clouds above him and struck the ground around him.

Slowly Anja screams die down until they stopped entirely and as they did the lightning stopped raining down around him.

Anja was still on his knees with tears falling down from his eyes.

“How could I have done that?” Anja asked himself as more tears fell down from his eyes.

Anja then began to imagine how his parents would feel if they saw him and what he all most did;knowing full well that if they saw him their hearts would break into a million pieces.

Anja himself did not understand why he did what he did; he was just filled with so much pain and sorrow over the death of his parents that he lost control over himself.

Anja felt horrible, hating himself for what he attempted to do, he felt like a savage beast at the moment.

The princess who now standing behind Anja slowly felt her fear for him disappeared as she watched him cry.

She could tell just by watching his tears fall down from his eyes and on to the ground that he was no monster to be fear just a boy who cannot deal with the pain loss brings.

She slowly approached him once again without fear in heart and then asked, “Are you okay”.

Anja remained silent upon hearing what the princess said.

He then turned his head to her and looked at her with a look of shock and confusion.

The princess then asked once again, “Are you okay”.

Anja then turned his head away from her and gave her no reply.

The princess then went to Anja and sat down on forest floor next to Anja.

“You know, it’s okay to be angry or sad especially after losing someone close to you” said the princess but once again Anja said nothing to her.

“You know you and I aren’t so different, we’ve both lost something close to us” said the princess.

“I know you must hate my father especially after what he did to your kind especially after everything he did to your kind but he is not that monster you think he is. I know my father is not the most rational person in world and tends to make decisions based on his fear and anger, and sometimes those decisions are not the best ones but he is still my father. He loved and raised me after my mother died, he was a bit over protective sometimes but he was good father and now his probably dead, killed by the Dark Sorcerer, the same man that ended the lives of your parents” said the princess with tears falling down from her eyes.

Anja upon hearing the princess cry over her father and the possibility that he might be dead turned to the princess and then watched her as she cried.

He could see the sadness in her eyes as the eyes flowed through them.

Anja couldn’t bear to see the princess cry and so he said, “stop wasting those tears of yours, if your father is indeed dead crying won’t bring her back”.

The princess then wiped away her eyes before saying, “true but what about you storm maker; do you believe that coming here, to this forest to cry alone will bring your parents back”.

Anja said nothing after hearing what the princess said not because he didn’t wish to speak to her but because he had no reply to what she said.

“No, it won’t and neither will keeping your pain lock up inside yourself, doing that will only hurt you more” said the princess.

The princess then placed her hand on Anja’s before saying, “I don’t know much about you Anja but I can tell that you are in pain, a pain that is slowly consuming you from within and if you don’t let it out it will grow and continue to consume you until there is nothing left”.

Anja removed his arm from the princess’s before saying, “are you done. Out of all the utter none sense you said there is only one sensible thing you said, you don’t know me so stop talking to me like you do”.

Anja despite hearing what the princess was too blinded by his anger and pain to understand what the princess was trying to say and felt as though she was saying utter rubbish.

Anja then used his powers to stop the storm he created due to his anger and rage over his parent’s death.

“Come on, let’s go back home so I can stop listen to you and the rubbish that comes out of your mouth” said Anja before he and the princess left, making their way home with Anja leading the way as he knew the forest better than the princess.

As Anja and the princess wondered through the forest Anja could not stop himself from briefly glancing at the princess without her noticing and turning away before she could look back at him.

Anja couldn’t help but wonder why the princess would talk to him with such a loving and kind voice after he lost control and nearly killed her a few moments ago.

Anja always believed that the Buganbalians were nothing hateful people especially the king but now that he had seen his daughter, the princess, who was nothing like what he expected a Buganbalian princess to be he was starting to slowly rethink his views on Buganbalians.

The hatred Anja now felt for the Buganbalians especially the king slowly reduced in his heart and although he was still harbored anger towards the Buganbalians especially the king the anger he felt was slowly fading away.

The both of them continued to wonder through the forest but as they did Anja began to sense something following them, hidden by the thick trees and bushes around the forest.

Anja upon sensing the strange creature following them he stopped but himself and the princess in their tracks.

“What…” Anja quickly used his hand to cover the mouth of the princess before she could finish her sentence.

“Shut that mouth of yours if you want to stay alive, princess” said Anja.

The princess then heard the sound of a few bushed from behind them shaking almost as though something was hiding in them.

The Princess then understood why Anja covered her and prevented her from speaking.

Anja upon seeing that the princess understood why he covered her mouth removed the hand he used to cover her mouth.

He then slowly made his way to the shaking bushes, try his best not to make a sound and alert whatever was hiding in the bushes.

As he approached the bush he readied his fist, sparking with lightning to strike down and beast that hiding in the forest.

Anja reached the forest and the cautiously began to clear away the leaves in the bushes to see what was hiding inside them only to see a squirrel race out of the bushes the moment it saw Anja.

The princess upon seeing the squirrel race out of the bushes couldn’t stop herself from laughing, thinking about how silly it was that Anja thought the squirrel hiding in the beast was dangerous.

The princess laughter enraged and greatly annoyed Anja who felt as though she was mocking him.

“If I have to hear that annoying laugh from you any longer I promise I will strike you down and this time I will not miss” said Anja but the princess did not take his threat seriously and continued to laugh as she knew Anja was just trying to intimidate her with his words.

The fact that the princess did not take and Anja seriously infuriated him and annoyed him further.

“STOP LAUGHING!!!!!!” Anja spoke with his eyes glowing like lightning and voice roaring like thunder, the sky even lit up with thunder but neither Anja’s voice nor his eyes and the lightning in sky was enough stop the princess from laughing, instead the fact that Anja was trying so hard to intimidate her made her laugh even more.

Anja’s eyes then stopped glowing with his voice going back to its normal form.

“Would you please stop laughing; you look like you’ve gone mad” said Anja begging the princess at this point to stop laughing but his plea like the rest of the actions he took to make her stop laughing just made her laugh even more.

Anja then slapped his forehead out of annoyance wondered if the princess was slowly going mad as he watched her laugh at him.

Meanwhile hidden in the thick vegetation of the forest a shadowy figure roamed the forest, moving closer and closer with his red eyes set on the princess.

Anja was too distracted by the laughter of the princess that he couldn’t sense the creature roaming the forest as slowly made his way to them, it was only when the creature came too close to them that Anja was able to sense it but by that time it was already too late as the creature jumped out of the forest and carried the princess before racing back in to the forest, moving too fast for Anja to see its face.

Then chased after the strange beast that emerged from the forest and took the princess, taking off to the sky and pursue the beast from high up in the clouds.

The princess screams echoed through the forest and the monster raced through the forest but Anja, moving as fast lightning fly down from sky and struck the beast hard with a fist charged with lightning.

The monster upon receiving the blow let go princess and was sent flying and crashing through the many trees in the forest.

Anja then landed next to the princess who was now on the ground.

Luckily she was not harm and the only damage done to her was just a few scratches and bruises on her body.

“Are you okay” asked Anja as he helped her up.

“I’m fine and thank you” said the princess.

Anja found his lips almost about to form smile at the princess upon hearing her thank him when something came out of nowhere and hit him, causing to fall down hard to the ground.

Anja then looked up from the ground and saw hideous beast that greatly resembled a demon.

The beast walked on two legs like a man, with razor shard claws on its arm and legs, teeth that looked like they could tear through flesh, a tail, with its entire body covered with dark fur and glowing red eyes.

The beast did not give Anja the opportunity to get up before it began to attack him with its claws causing Anja to scream with tremendous pain.

The beast then attacked Anja again and again with its claws and only stopped when he saw that Anja had closed his eyes and seemed lifeless on the floor with blood sipping out of his body through the wounds created by the monster’s claws at it attacked him.

The beast, once it saw that Anja was no longer a threat turned to the princess.

Princess Tari just stood there frozen with terror and fear as looked the beast which stood next to Anja’s motionless body.

The beast then charged straight for the princess who was still frozen with fear but before the beast could reach the princess a lightning bolt came out nowhere and struck the beast causing it to scream and shout in pain before falling down to the ground and closed its red glowing eyes in death.

As the beast fell down the princess saw Anja standing behind it with blood dripping out of his body and his fist smoking because of the lightning bolt he used to strike the beast to death.

Anja was greatly wounded and weaken by the beast and the many wound inflicted on him by the beast’s claws, he could barely stay on his two feet and seemed like he used the little ounce strength he had to strike the beast down with a lightning bolt.

Anja, weakened and drained of almost all his strength felt his feet getting weaker before they finally gave in causing fall but before he hit the ground he felt someone holding grab hold and carried before he could hit the ground.

Anja then raised his head to see who it was only to see it the princess holding him up with her shoulder.

Anja was both shock and surprised upon seeing that it was the princess that was holding.

The princess face was the last thing he saw before he closed his eyes and lost consciousness.

As the Anja lost consciousness the princess began to panic, fearing that he was dead.

She then checked his heart beat and then sighed out of relieve upon hearing his heart beating , glad that he was still alive but in the state he was in she knew he alive for too long and he needed to treated of his wounds as soon as possible so she tore of a piece of cloth from her clothes and just it to cover up Anja’s wound before she carried him on her shoulder and began to make journey back to the house, luckily Anja and her were closer enough to the house for she to recognize their way back.

Once there she rushed in carrying Anja’s bleeding unconscious body.

“Anja” said Braiba upon seeing the princess carrying her unconscious brother and badly wounded brother.

“What happened and how didAnja get so badly hurt” asked Braiba.

“We don’t have time, he has lost a lot of blood, he needs to be treated fast” said the princess.

The princess was right and as Braiba saw the way blood was sipping out of Anja’s body she knew she needed to do something otherwise her brother would be dead just like their parents.

“Place him on the floor” said Braiba.

The princess then placed Anja on the floor.

Braiba then placed her hands on his wounds and then used her magic to heal him and with a flash of light from Braiba’s hands all Anja’s wounds were gone.

“There he will be fine now but he still needs to rest” said Braiba before she carried Anja.

“I’ll take him to his room so he can rest” said Braiba before she left; carrying Anja to his room so he could rest.

Once there in Anja’s room, Braiba placed him on his bed.

Braiba was about to leave when she heard him said in his unconscious state, “father, mother, please don’t leave”.

It broke her heart hearing what her brother said, he was pleading for their dead parents to stay with him even though they were dead and gone.

Braiba just sighed deeply before going to the bed and sat down next Anja before holding his arm and then speaking using her magic to enchant her voice to sound like their mother to say, “We won’t my child we promise”.

She felt Anja’s grip tighten after she spoke all most as if he feared the voice of his mother was lying and held on to her arm as tight as he could, feeling that if he doesn’t they may leave.

A small tear fell down from Braiba’s eyes, feeling guilty about using her mother’s voice to calm Anja down and lying to him that their parents would never leave even though they already had.
