Chapter 30 Outreach Center

We had a busy week, finishing up my papers; Nolan conducting business and travelling throughout Cali with the packs. The kidnappings came to a sudden slow down but no at a complete stop, letting me know it was just the calm before the storm. I have events for the Halloween weekend at Ominous and with the pack. It is the one night of the year everyone could be themselves without raising human suspicion.

I have taken Lexi with me to the club the first weekend she arrived. It was definitely fate that brought her to us, reason being, Maddox is her mate. They have been together ever since Sunday; I’ve been covering for Alexus until she breaks the news to Nolan.

Maddox may not be royalty, but he is a fierce warrior with a heart of gold and will make sure Alexus lives a good life. Nikki and Bryant are helping me with planning the parties we held for Halloween this year, setting up transportation for the children that attended the outreach center as well as adults.

My parents think I give too much of my money away, but they really have no idea how much my net worth truly is. Our tech company doubles as a security firm for elite humans and supes worldwide. Nolan had made peace with Lex and several of the other members of my legion. I still hadn’t told him I was the leader of the army or anything about my hit squad. In fact, I haven’t even told him what I am either. My mother thinks I should do it this weekend while we are all together, she might have a point.

I will be shifted in one way or another in our territory on Saturday, no better way than to show him. I pray he doesn’t flip out screaming and running in the opposite direction. I always think of the worst-case scenarios when it comes to him.

My last paper is almost completed, only thing left was to cite my material referenced. Turning on my computer I look at the annual budget for the outreach center, everything is covered and some extra in case of any emergencies. Today I will be teaching three dance classes with the youth and adults.

I pack up my workout bag and decide to take the Tahoe for a change. Nolan facetimed me while I am in route, “Hey, Love, where are you headed?” he is so much calmer about my random trips away from home since we marked each other. “Headed to the outreach center to teach a few classes with the kids.”

Nolan raises an eyebrow, “Maybe I should stop by sometime and check you out in action.” If he only knew the true action happens when I left the country globetrotting. “You should; I think the kids would be impressed with a Lycan in the flesh as well as some of the women ogling my personal eye candy.” We both laugh. “See you later, babe.”

I pulled into the parking lot of the outreach center, grabbing my duffle bag in the front seat before heading in. I can see some of the kids lingering around the entrance, they look over in my direction and start jumping up and down. “Laina! Princess Elaina!” I crouched down to give them all a group hug. “Are you teaching class today? Please say you’re teaching us today. Pretty Please!” their excitement is truly uplifting. “Yes, I’ll be teaching the class today, we are going to do something new.”

Those little eyes gleamed. I pick my hair up and placing it through the back of my baseball cap with my ends out in a curly puff to the back. Giving the kids the first few moves, we did a quick practice before combining the rest. I had gotten a clean version of Pop Smoke. I let them perform together and later into smaller groups, putting their own personal flare to the dance. Teaching two youth classes back-to-back before it came time for the nitty gritty of the adults. This was going to be truly an adult class and provocative. Depending on how it went, I might introduce silhouette dancing to Ominous.

I headed to the other room with the ladies waiting for me. Lana let out a “Wow” as soon as I leaned down to put on my heels for class. “You…you’re mated? When did you, I mean you and the prince. Well shit its official y’all. Elaina is off the market.”

Of course Lana had to broadcast it. “All right everyone, yes I’m mated to the Lycan Prince. Also yes, many times too.” I gave them all a wink and they let out some giggles. “Let’s get started; I’m going to have you ladies sweating this session.”

I put on Megan Thee Stallion. By the end of the session I was sweating too. We did one last run of the song, when I sensed my mate nearby. I looked to the small window near the door and there he was, watching me dropping down low.

Watching isn’t the right word, he was eating up everything he saw me do. From the look in his eyes I am emphatically certain I am going to be bent over as soon as I get home. They all exited the room as Nolan walks in, looking from him to me. They all knew what was up and what was about to go down once I left the building.

“So, umm, I never knew you could dance like that. I mean I always knew you were a dancer but this…this is going to give me wet dreams for a while.” His words made me flush along with his yummy scent. “Since you’re here wanna do a little ballroom dancing with me. I mean your mom is from Bolivia and I know she showed you something.” Nolan took off his jacket. “Is that a challenge princess. If so let’s do it.”

I cued the music , “Let’s see what you got.” I rolled my hips for side to side; Nolan snatched my hand spinning me and then close hip contact. He was really good at improvisation; we were really enjoying ourselves. The song ended, Nolan dipped his head kissing me, suddenly we heard someone clearing their throats.

“Excuse me Elaina, I didn’t mean to interrupt but we need the room.” Ms. Joy was one of our dance instructors and we accidentally cut into her class time. “I’m sorry, I didn’t realize what time it was,” looking at my watch we definitely slipped into the next classes window. “You two should seriously teach ballroom dancing, I enjoyed watching you guys. You’re perfect together.”

Nolan and I walked out of the outreach center holding hands. “Have you decided what to wear for the Halloween parties this weekend?” Without looking at me he answered, ”It’s a surprise, plus you haven’t told me what you’re wearing either.” Speaking of parties, Michelle and Lennox’s hand fasting was coming up soon. I think this would be a good way to help break him in to my life.

“Michelle’s hand fasting is a few weeks away, I know you haven’t been to the realm, but it’s some place I’d like to introduce you to before our ceremony. I want you to come with me.” Squeezing my hand he answered, “I’d go anywhere with you , even to hell as long as you’re there with me.” Yep, I should definitely tell him everything this weekend.

After getting home that night I was truly bent over, twisted, and contorted in all manner of positions, we even missed dinner. I got all my papers finished and submitted before the deadline. The last thing on my agenda would be my graduation application.

Bryant did what I asked, digging into Evil Lynn’s background. She definitely had a hidden agenda other than Nolan, especially with four offshore bank accounts. It would take my brother up to a max of two weeks to get every wire transaction record undetected. I was willing to wait as to not give anyone the heads up someone was watching.
