The Summer Of Light

In a world where magical creatures and humans live side by side, three friends embark on a cross country road trip full of magic, romance, and life threatening peril. In late 2016, the Atlata virus leaked from the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Manhattan, Kansas. It spread so quickly and was so deadly that humanity would have gone extinct had not the fae, the magical beings dwelling in the shadows of the world, emerged from their hiding places and cured it with their magic. Fifty years later, in a world where fae and humanity share the earth in peace and prosperity, Annelise White, an easygoing dreamer, and her lifelong friends Athena, a short tempered pragmatist, and Dianna, a flirtatious movie buff, graduate from high school. To celebrate, they embark on a cross country road trip to New San Francisco to see the Seelie Lights, an awe inspiring display of magic to commemorate the holiest day in the fae calendar. Their hope is to merely have some fun before summer ends and the burdens of real life are forced upon them. They have no idea that their journey will also bring them face to face with an enchanting dryad, ferocious trolls, colorful sprites, and most dangerous of all, a trio of boys headed in the same direction they are.
