Chapter 126 Liam’s Computer Has Been Hacked

Hayden tapped the desk with his fingers. The spacious office was filled with rhythmic sounds. He murmured, “You want to put on a show in front of me. I’ll show you the consequences of messing with me.”

Hayden no longer hesitated when he thought of this. He quickly turned on the computer. He sneaked into the backend of the system and searched for Luther Corporation’s files.

Hayden had practically been Gwyneth’s shadow during her time abroad. Naturally, he had become an expert in hacking. He had no intention of completely ruining Liam. He just wanted to ruin his reputation in front of Gwyneth.

He had heard from Gwyneth that she and Liam occasionally collaborated on projects. Hayden decided to make this project his objective. He quickly searched for this. He needed some work to crack Liam’s computer system. But fortunately, he succeeded in the end.

He snorted icily when he saw the names signed on the files. He did not change their contents, but damaged them and made it impossible. to open them. This payback was enough for him. After he double–checked his work, Hayden satisfactorily logged out of the computer

program.

When Liam went to work the following day, he discovered that his computer program had a glitch. He was quite surprised by this.

Who on earth would dare to do such a thing?”

Liam sneered and quickly scanned the files on the computer. Some insignificant files were still there, but the important ones had vanished. completely or turned into gibberish.

“Damn it!” Liam cursed as he stared at the computer screen. His eyes briefly flashed with a hint of rage.

His assistant learned that Liam’s computer had been hacked, but he thought it was a joke. Who could possibly have the audacity? He dared not put it off and called the technical director right away.

“Mr. Luther,” the director of the technical department greeted, and he was visibly nervous.

Due to the nature of his work, he rarely interacted with his coworkers, much less the president. His presence was only required when there was an important meeting or when the company needed to make a significant software upgrade. As expected, he was terrified.

“My computer has been hacked. See if you can help me fix it.” Liam said as calmly as possible, trying not to let his feelings show.

Their department’s negligence was to blame for the computer being hacked. No one could stop a hacker if they were determined to break

into their system.

The director, whose shirt was drenched in sweat, nearly passed out when he heard this. He stammered, “Mr. Luther, we–It’s our job…”

“Solve it now,” Liam waved and made room for the director.

Sadly, despite his best efforts, it was not possible to recover the files.

In the end, Liam logged on to the dark web and posted a bounty with an absurdly high reward.

All of the hackers on the dark web were eager to give it a shot, but after reading the requirements and understanding the situation, the majority of them gave up. Hayden had extraordinary hacking skills. The virus he had planted was uncrackable to other hackers.

After ShadowCipher received the task, he attempted to fix it but was unsuccessful due to numerous firewalls. Such a thing had never happened to him before. He was a little dejected but also a little excited. He had to ask his master for help if none of them could deal with

this task.

In the world of hackers, nobody would ever log in to the dark web using their real identities. Even ShadowCipher, Gwyneth’s apprentice, was unaware of his master’s identity. Only her alias, God–K, was known to him.

ShadowCipher immediately contacted Gwyneth over the dark web.

Gwyneth was not always online when she was working at the office. She only saw the message and replied to ShadowCipher two hours later. She replied ecstatically and asked.

“Alright, I’ll give it a try.” Gwyneth agreed.

Following ShadowCipher’s description, she went to the website’s page looking for the bounty and quickly located it. Since Liam was. offering the highest bounty, she had no trouble locating the task.

After she accepted and opened the task. Gwyneth froze after skimming the description.
