Maxwell POV

I am lost, lost beyond being found. I've lost My Love, My Heart, My Mate. Without her what am I, what could I possibly be without Kimberly by my side. I said all that shit about leaving her if she was not pure but it was just talk, even if she was ran through I would still marry Kim.

I've been running for days now, I haven't been in my human form for a while. I let my wolf take over and sat back and let him do what he could to mend our Broken heart and soul.

I've been so cold inside since she left me, I could barely feel my heart anymore it was like it died when she left me. I was noticing the air around my wolf started to get colder as the days passed and it didn't bother me, better I become heartless then to let a somebody hurt me again.

"What do you mean mom, my wolf never showed any signs of being blessed my the moon goddess." I blurted out from the corner of the room, sitting in a chair next to a tall lamp.

"Max let me finish my dear, the fact is you and your sister are blessed. You guys have the opportunity to change the tide of war, there many gifts the moon goddess could give out but these are one of the greatest. Usually she gives one gift to each pack once every 50 years, but we had twins so she gave us two." She was showing us the information she was telling us was from the book.

I wonder how my sister was doing all this time, I didn't like her attitude but I could understand how she felt, new people, new place it would be weird for anybody. Having that thought made me realize I have a gift I didn't know which one yet but I knew it was one out of the two.

So I thought of all the pain that I have in my heart and soul and use it to my advantage, I think about the water Turning cold cold as my heart when she left me, cold as my heart when she said she cut our bond just cold. As I was lost in thought I heard the deer yelp in pain.

Shocked I noticed that all of there Limbs was in the water frozen in place.

So my mother wasn't lying, I thought while running as fast as I could toward the food I just caught with my newfound powers.

My wolf was so happy that we grabbed some good eats, he tore into the stomach of one while the other looked in horror screaming for help however a deer would scream.

I smile a bloody smile then snapped it's neck making it fall limp awkwardly due to its frozen limbs in water. After my meal I left that area and kept going east I don't know what was making me go that way but I just had to go that way.

Maxine POV

Once we reached the packlands I told Justin to pullover, and I got out and ran towards the house. My newfound brother was missing and I hate to say it but I needed to find him. All I had was family and I'm starting to realize it, if it wasn't for Grandpa jet I would be starving or worse dead.

My parents were shit but I needed to understand why they did what they did and stop being a brat about this whole thing. I made it to they pack house pretty fast, i needed to see what was the details in MJ disappearance.

As I opened the door it was about 50 people in the center room before you get to the stairwell talking, I'm assuming about my Brother. They stopped when I walked it and you could hear a pin drop.

"Mother, Father, I'm home." I yell, the pack members start to bow slightly to show respect but I could tell they really didn't want to.

They didn't know me, I was a outsider playing house with the Midnight Moon Pack. As I walked upstairs towards the pack meeting room, I was thinking that before they day is up I will accept this pack as my own I needed to find our new Alpha/My brother as soon as possible.

We needed him back, and Kimberly back. This pack was doomed without them both and everybody in the house knew it.

I reached the door and walked in, it was my mother and father deep in conversation when I walked inside.

They didn't expect me to be back at all, but I was here. Then I spoke after Justin walked in a second after me.
