Chapter 11 Villians and Heroes

Lynn's POV

As we exited the school and walked towards Saint's truck, I still under his arm, he opened the door, threw me in, and then sat down and buckled his seat belt. He proceeded to pull off; and would make his way toward what I assumed was his and my brother's Pack grounds.

The drive was pretty quiet; He didn't say much. I wanted my brother to hurry up and find whatever he was so desperately looking for and fast. I was ready to go home and ain't been gone for less than 30 minutes.

But who would be OK with being in a car with a random stranger, knowing I can't go home freely? At least, I guess this is what I must go through for trying to be the hero.

He asks me a question, which throws me out of my thoughts.

"Lynn my name is Saint, by the way are you hungry?"

"Hi Saint it's nice to meet you, and no I'm okay I ate" I said quickly, Not wanting to be rude. He got quiet after my rebuttal, letting me know he read the room.

I look at him with confusion. So, it was awkward to say he made a facial expression, which told me I wasn't the only one who felt the weirdness as well.

He didn't seem that bad, but like I said before he was technically kidnapping me. As we reached the pack grounds, I opened the door and proceeded to follow him as we walked through the double doors of the house.

As soon as we walked into the house, he looked at me and told me "your brother would be gone for a few months, so you can stay in the guest room upstairs. It's next to my room."

"If you need anything, please let me know" he turned around and walked towards his office adjacent to the steps. Once again, I was confused, as in I was wondering why he was showing so much hospitality.

All of a sudden, he was being so nice to me. When we were with my brother, it seemed like he wanted to kill me, or at least that's what he told him. He's weird simple as that I shouldn't look to much into it.

The next couple of weeks went by with a breeze, and then after that, the next couple of months went by even faster; the whole time I was there, other than the initial first day, I never felt like I was in captivity.

It was bizarre, and as I said earlier, he was super nice to me. That was even weirder. He was showing me a side that he really shouldn't be showing anybody else; I didn't understand it. And then, one day, as I was creeping next to his office, I overheard him speaking to somebody, Sounded like a woman.

"Have you found out it's been a while, and I haven't heard back from Zach yet. The Imprint? Find out first if it's true then I'll be able to kill him"

"No Alpha. I haven't found out, but I'm sure it's true.

I asked the local witch from the Coven near our grounds, and she briefly told me how they will imprint on each other. They are faded by soul ties, and the moon Goddess has blessed them and their firstborn."

"Hmm so you say? That's something I'm going to have to look into, but what's done is done. Even if soul ties do not fade, he will die by my paw. It's the only way for me to gain the respect I need back and be able to lead my father's pack."

"I understand my King," she said quietly while bowing slightly.

"You'll get it done if you don't. I won't accept you as my mate. Get the Fuck out of my office and make sure nobody sees you on your way out."and with that he turned in his chair it sounded like and I ran as quiet as I could because she was coming towards the door.

I found a good hiding spot while I waited, and I heard her exit his office, sniffling, walking towards the front door, and leaving. All of a sudden, he says,

"Lynn, come here please."

It throws me off, but I come almost automatically.

"Yes, Mr Saint" I say quietly, somewhat scared now, knowing I just got caught eavesdropping.

"You heard pretty much everything, right," he said without turning to face me.

"Yes, I heard pretty much everything. I won't say anything to anybody. I haven't shifted yet, but if she's your mate. why are you treating her like that?" He turns around and gives me a deathly glare, one I haven't seen since the day he kidnapped me.

"If you must know, my family comes from a long line of powerful alphas. My father wouldn't want me to accept my mate and Luna, not without testing her fully because, to be honest, he doesn't think I'm ready to be the next alpha, and I'm sure he really wouldn't think I'm ready to be the next alpha with the lame mate so treat her like that, but it's for the best. She will be my queen one day if only she chooses to show me"

"But that's neither here nor there." He continues.

"Now that you know all this, I need you to do something. I won't hurt you or anything crazy like that. That wasn't my goal, but I need to trust you."

Then he opens his drawer, and pulls out a bottle of pills, and hands me a silver one. I looked at him as crazy and asked

"why I must take this?"

He replies "it won't hurt you. I just need to know that if I give you instructions, you can follow them thoroughly."

I look at him one more time, and I think of my brother, and I wonder what he would have done if he was in this situation. Then I'll threw the pill down and swallow it dryly without any water. From the womb to the tomb i thought. I showed Saint my tongue and let him know it was done.

He chuckled; and said "good, that's a good little pup,"and walked from behind the desk to rub me on my head.

After that, he said "if I can trust you lil pup, I'll let you join my pack and become my beta one day."

That threw me off me a Beta, HaHaHa I couldn't even shift yet, yeah he is nuts. A beta in what world.........

Hmm kinda makes you feel like Saint is being forced to be a terrorist to the wolf community. Hahaha but no seriously how does this make you feel, is he being creepy by being so nice to Lynn and offering her the beta position. Sn women don't get offered that everyday they usually get married into being one from their mate. A lil role switch, but get ready next few chapters will get a lil crazy don't hate me.
