News Report:

In a controversial move considered by some to be a gross interference in history, it has been confirmed that a medical mission will provide modern care to needy residents of Giolgrave in Saxon Aengland.

Spokesman for Transporter Corp and Helguard Security, Professor Phil Walker, today confirmed that the project will be jointly funded by Helguard Security, Woomera Technologies, Transporter Corp, and the British Military.

The Queen, together with other members of the Royal Family, recently met with Tatae the Saxon Healer, giving the royal seal of approval to the mission to help some of history’s most loved people.

Tatae was recently rushed from one-thousand years in the past to a modern London hospital for emergency procedures to prevent the loss of her unborn baby. It has now been confirmed that, like Tatae, some of the villagers are planned to receive medical treatment that will dramatically improve their quality of life and even save lives.

Fans of reality TV Show, ‘Hunter in Saxon England’ will know many of those who will be given immediate attention.

First is Rowena, the little girl with a cleft pallet, and Wyne, the toddler with the easily treated eye condition commonly known as squint. One of the women, Ymma, has fistula, another easily managed ailment that, once treated, will dramatically improve her life.

Another likely to be assisted is village leader, Thegn Godric, who doctors feel might benefit from treatment for a heart ailment.

“This project will improve the lives of the villagers of Giolgrave. We just can’t just stand back and let them suffer when we can so easily help them,” explained Professor Walker.

“We’ve delved into their daily lives and have almost lived with them, so now it’s time we give something back.”

The mission will take place in two main phases. First, there will be a complete medical assessment of each villager. Then, based on that assessment, an on-site Military Field Hospital will provide the required treatments.

“In answer to the concerns of critics, the programme is designed to be conducted with the minimum of interference to the villagers’ daily lives,” explained Professor Walker.

“The British military will set up their field hospital in the glade at the Area of Convergence where Michael Hunter was first transported to Saxon Aengland.”

“We’ve already arranged for military support for the operation, which will include participation by specialists from the Royal London Hospital,” he said.

While details for the operation will be forthcoming, some academics are furious at the planned intrusion.

One outspoken critic, Professor Robert Burgess of the University of Leicester, said, “Where do we draw the line on our interference in the lives of these villagers? We still don’t know if our actions in Saxon Aengland affect history as we know it. While this project is a nice humanitarian gesture, we remain ignorant of any the long-term consequences of our actions.”

Planned to take place soon, in what will be the dead of winter, the mission will present a logistical challenge as equipment and personnel will be shipped to the ancient forest and set up over only a couple of days. But, many ask, what of the wolves that welcomed Michael Hunter in his first visit?

“Oh, we’ll have British Special Forces personnel to guard the facility. We don’t think the wolves will bother anyone,” explained Professor Walker.
