After falling asleep again, Melanie slept well. 

She had a sweet dream, in which she seemed to be in a sea of flowers, wrapped in warm sunshine and gentle flower fragrance. 

When she got up the next morning, Melanie was amazed at how powerful the medicine was. 

Although her grandpa Zander Thomas was a great medical expert back then, in her memory, after she moved to the island, she knew that he had quit being a doctor a long time ago. 

During the seven years on the island, her grandfather did teach her some medical skills to distract her attention, but they were simple ones and she was not very good at them. 

Once, she asked Zander why he had stopped studying medicine. 

Zander had been silent for a long time before he spoke again. “Why would I study it if I can save the world but cannot save people around me?” 

At that time, Melanie didn’t know who his grandfather had been talking about. She thought he had been upset by the death of her mother.
