For the first time in years, Courtney and Kevin spent their night making love, then decided to mark each other. The reason they decided to mark each other was because they would be apart tomorrow for the first time in years.

The next morning came to fast for Courtney she snuggled more into Kevin kissing the new mark she made on his neck making him shudder “I already miss you and you haven’t left” the bond between them grew strong during the night,

“I will miss you to baby, but once I find this guy, I will bring him with me to help your daughter and we will start the life you dreamed of.”

“I hope so, I wanted to leave once Aly came to me in my dream to tell me that Naty was going to be in problems, but Eric got us first, I hope the goddess and Simon will protect her.”

“The goddess won't let him hurt her you will see, now let’s go get breakfast I’m leaving after eating” they both went down to the dining room were all her father's pack was digging in their plates once she got there, they felt her presence and turned toward her they all stood up and bowed their head in respect.

“You can sit back and continue your food, don’t stop for me” Courtney said “thank you miss Courtney” they all responded back.

She was serving one plate for her and Kevin when Ulises came in, the pack members did the same as when Courtney entered, Ulisses just moved his hand to make them sit again.

“You are a late father, usually you are the first one here at the table” Courtney said amused.

“The age my daughter, I’m getting older, and my bed calls my old bones, I don’t want to get away from it.”

Courtney giggled at her father words “you are not that old you are barely in you early sixties, your still strong and full of life.”

“Good way to say I’m out form daughter” he said grabbing his stomach.

“You are know I don’t mean that, do want me to fix you a plate.”

“Yes, please I’m starving” she got another plate for her father to fill with toast, eggs and bacon.

“Let’s go to sit this look delicious” they walked to the table, her father taking the head seat, his beta and his mate were seated next to him since Courtneys mate passed away her father had to point to another beta to take care of the duties he couldn’t.

Courtney sat in the middle with her mate with the rest of the pack. She didn’t mind being treated like a regular wolf in fact she enjoyed it.

They finished their meal, and got up from the table “Kevin, what clothes are you taking on the trip we didn’t bring anything with us” Courtney remembered that they came with nothing.
