The day moved too quickly for Nataly, she ate her breakfast and lunch in her room she didn’t want to run into Eric before the party she would have to endure his presence for the whole night. She looked at the small paper her mother sent her once again. It just had those words she knew the basics of reading her mom taught her a little bit of reading and math behind erics back. She ripped the paper into pieces and threw it in the toilet.

She went back to try to read the book she took from the library Eric had, although she felt frustrated because it had many words she didn’t understand and what they meant. By the time she gave up she glanced at the clock that was on the wall and it was already five pm.

She was getting the dress, her high heels and makeup ready when she heard a knock at her door this time it wasn’t eric she smelled an omega.

"Come in”

“Hello mam, I came to help you get ready for the party” the omega maid said.

“Oh, thank you, I would need some help. I don’t know how to apply makeup” she said timidly. The maid gave her a small smile and moved to the vanity “come mam. Will start with your makeup then I will do your hair, mam would you like a dramatic look or more natural.”

“I would like a natural tone but with yellows in it to go with my dress, I already did my nails” Nataly said proudly her toes and hand nails there was one yellow and one emerald color her two favorite colors.

“They look nice mam, you did a good job” the maid said preparing the makeup, Nataly sited down on the stool that was close to the vanity the maid started working did her makeup and hair then helped her putting on the dress when she finished, she instructed Nataly to look at herself in the full-length mirror.

Nataly did as the maid said, she looked so different for once she could call herself pretty, she liked her reflection her makeup was flawless her black hair in curls it gave her an innocent look, just one thing was missing her mother's gift she went to get it and put it on now she was perfect ready to go down.

“Thank you, Melanie,” she gave a hug to the maid. She was one of the omegas that took care of her when she was on their side of the pack, the omega hugged her back “happy birthday my little girl” there were tears on both of them.

“Don’t cry you will ruin the makeup and we don’t want the alpha to be upset with you today” Melaine told her.

“You are right, let’s go down, he’s probably waiting for me." Both of them walked out. When they reached the stair flight Nataly glanced down and there was Eric waiting for her with his mouth open, she looked ethereal with the dress and her hair that way she was a goddess. He didn't look bad either with his suit and light-yellow dress shirt he had under to match with her.

Aly chuckled and rolled her eyes at him. Don’t be nervous, everything will be ok, nothing bad will happen to us deep breaths Naty.

Eric ran up the stairs for her, he extended his arm to hook it up with hers, they both walked down he leaned close to her ear and whispered “you look amazing baby girl and smell delicious.”

He brought the microphone to Eric then the alpha grabbed Nataly's hand and walked to the center of the salon where he would give his speech,

“Good night to everyone I hope you are enjoying the party, you might ask why I wanted to celebrate today well today is this beautiful woman's birthday and i wanted to present her to all of you this is Nataly my second chance mate and new luna to this pack, with that said please continue enjoying your night ” everyone was surprised to hear this news.

With that said he gave the microphone back to David and walked toward a table with Nataly by his side, some of the guests approached him to congratulate them, they continued walkin until they reached one and sat down. He moved closer to her “do you like how the salon looks and the surpries party.”

“Yes Eric, it is nice” she answered. “I did it based on your favorite color,” he said with a smirk.

“Actually, I have two favorite colors yellow and emerald- green” he didn’t know her that well the way he thought.

“You should look better around you might be surprised” he said with a big grin on his face.

Nataly did glance around again and saw two crystal chandeliers hanging from the cealing they were emerald green and the vases of the flowers that were on the tables as well emerald- green she couldn’t believe her eyes.
