“Don’t overthink it; I’ve always been this loosey–goosey. You and Alex are like family to me. As long as you’re okay, I’m good” Elio said, tucking away his deep–seated sadness and pain. He waved his hand, “Alright, go rest up. Leave this to me and I got it covered. Don’t worry about anything else, got 11?”
Clara lowered her head, “Elio, I’m sorry”
“Don’t say sorry‘ It sounds like we’re saying goodbye or something You’re just just being with the real father of your child, that’s a good thing. There’s nothing to apologize to me for! Besides, we’ll see each other again. If I come back to our country. I’ll look for you and Alex tool I consider him my son. I’ll miss him”

Clara felt helpless but still held her son tightly, “Baby boy, listen to Mommy! Mr. Milburn and I are just friends, and you’re too young to understand this. You’ll get it when you grow up!”
Alex blinked his eyes and puckered his lips, “You adults always beat around the bush! By the time I grow up and understand, it’ll be too late! What will you do if Mr. Milburn gets married?”
“…” Clara wanted to say something but ended up saying nothing, only sighing. Who do you want more, Mommy or Mr. Milburn?”
“Mommy, of course!”
“Alex, don’t bring this up again, okay? Mommy will never leave you again!” Clara hesitated, wanting to tell Alex about Aiden, but eventually, she didn’t

Clara poked his forehead, “What on earth is going on in that little head of yours? Eat your breakfast. Mommy has something important to discuss with you later”
No matter what, she had to talk to Alex about this.
How would Alex react if he knew his biological father was Emmett.
“A talk?” Alex sensed something was off, so he simply sat quietly in his chair, “Tell me now, Mommy! Are you going to limit my sugar intake again?”
“It’s about about your biological father.”
