Chapter 131
On the plane, Clara was too sleepy to resist and fell fast asleep, cuddling lightly to Alex
Emmett looked over a few documents, sorting out what he needed to do at the office after the plane landed. He then got up to check on them and found them sound asleep. so peaceful and sweet.
He smiled slightly, then bent over to tuck them in.
Suddenly, Emmett heard Clara stirring and mumbling something in her sleep.
He paused, then leaned in to listen.
Was she calling out Elio’s name?
Emmett felt his blood rush in reverse. He wanted to shake the woman in front of him awake and ask her what the deal was with her and Elio. Why was she calling out his name in her sleep?
But as his hand was halfway out, he retracted it.
Seeing Clara sleeping so peacefully and Alex happily nuzzling against her, he couldn’t bear to wake her up.
Emmett hesitated for a few seconds, then turned to leave.
Suddenly he heard Clara’s voice from behind, “Uh! Mr. Melendez, what are you doing here? Where am I?”
“Aren’t you awake yet?” Emmett frowned, “We’re on a plane heading home.”
Clara rubbed her eyes, her memory slowly coming back.
“Ah, how much longer till we get home?”
*About three or four hours.” Emmett glanced at her, then motioned for her to join him not to disturb Alex’s rest.
Clara nodded and followed Emmett into his cabin.
As soon as the door closed, Clara was swept into Emmett’s arms and placed on the bed!
She was a bit stunned. When she came to her senses, Emmett was already on top of her!
“What are you doing? Mr. Melendez, we’re on a plane!”
*This plane is mine; who will peep on us?”
Clara quickly covered her chest, “It’s daytime; let me up! Mr. Melendez, don’t!”
“What’s wrong” Emmett’s eyes were challenging, but his hands were busy teasing Clara!
Clara, of course, couldn’t stand his teasing. Her cheeks were flushed like a ripe peach!
Emmett could no longer control himself, he undid his shirt’s buttons.
After a passionate encounter, Clara lay on his bed, panting heavily.

“Why did you call out Elio’s name? You still haven’t given me an explanation”
Clara widened her eyes and blinked, “I… I don’t know! I was really–asleep then!”
