“When are you going to get used to this?”
“I might never get used to it” Clara looked at him shyly. “Can you put some clothes on?”
How the hell did she not know Emmett had this nudist streak?!
He didn’t even bother with clothes at home
“Don’t you like what you see?” Emmett, still in the buff, purposely moved closer to her.
Clara bolted to the bathroom and shut the door, “If you’re not going to get dressed, I’m sleeping in another room! I can’t handle this; just put something on.”
Emmett chuckled helplessly from the other side of the door, “Alright, I’m dressed now! You can come out.”
‘Really?”
“Why would I lie to you?”
Upon hearing his words, Clara cautiously peeked through the door crack, confirmed he was clothed, and stepped out.
But Emmett scooped her up before she could get her bearings and tossed her on the bed!
“What are you doing?” Clara instinctively covered her chest.
“What do you think I’m going to do? It’s nighttime, time for some marital duties.”
Warning bells started ringing in Clara’s head.
“We just got back today; I’m tired!”

“You just need to lay there; you don’t have to do anything.” Emmett’s hand already found its way under her clothes as he spoke.
All Clara could do was close her eyes tightly, feeling his touch.
She knew she had to get used to this life; she couldn’t always reject Emmett….
But-
Clara didn’t expect Emmett to keep going until 3 in the morning.
By the time she opened her eyes the next day, it was already noon!
She tried to get up, but every muscle ached so bad she felt paralyzed.
“Sigh!”
Clara forced herself up, but she saw Emmett coming from the study before she could even reach the door.
“You’re up!”
“Mhm.” Clara nodded, seeing Emmett’s face brought back memories of last night. She quickly lowered her gaze, pretending to look elsewhere.
Emmett smiled and pulled her into his arms, “What’s the matter? Still shy?”
“I, I’m not.”
“Don’t bother lying; it’s written all over your face!”
Emmett sighed, “Alright, breakfast is ready in the dining room! I’ve been waiting for you, I haven’t eaten yet, let’s go together.”
Clara nodded, “Okay.”
“You need to eat more; you’re too thin! There’s not much to feel.”
“Cough cough cough Clara nearly choked on her saliva, she looked at Emmett in shock, lowering her voice, “Can you not say that kind of stuff anytime, anywhere? Your parents are still here; what will they think of me?”
Emmett shrugged it off, “What’s there to be afraid of? They’d understand! If it makes you uncomfortable, we can move out. I have plenty of houses.”
“No!” Clara instinctively refused, “I want to stay with the kids.”
“We could take the kids with us, but.. that might tire you out.”
Clara’s eyes widened, she was wavering inside.
After all, no one truly wanted to live with their in–laws; there were always inconveniences, but…
“Let’s just forget about it! Your parents love the kids too. If we just took them away, they’d lose a lot of joy!”
