Clare Calloway’s car pulled up at the company entrance and she hopped out, striding toward the building
Just before she entered a familiar voice echoed frm behind
“Clara!”
Emmett Melendez, standing beside her, also turned to look…
The voice belonged to Taylor Atwood

Upon seeing Taylor, Claras first instinct was to book it!
Taylor made to chase after her but was stopped by Emmett
“Mr Atwood, this is the Melendez company, not a place you can walk into

“Who you want to see is none of my business, but if you don’t work for Melendez, you can’t come in
Taylor frowned at him, “Emmett, what are you playing at? All I want to do is explain things to Clara Why are you stopping me?”

“Better figure things out with Taylor and let me know the deal. I can protect you now, but I can’t do that forever!”
