Harrison’s POV

"Dear diary,

Today nurses were talking about some other girl who is going to share my cell. I don’t know what to say about that. I haven’t seen anyone besides the doctor, nurses, and Zach in months. I'm slowly losing my mind. Sometimes I see Samara talking to me and laughing at her own jokes. She stares at me with her sad little eyes. Sometimes she even cries. She tells me not to give up. Not to take Zach's words in my heart. Says he's just lost his way and will come back to me one day. I know she's dead but it's good to see her again. Even if my mind has been playing with me.

And that left me to think that am I even allowed to share cellmate with myself? After what happened the last time I was surprised to hear the news. I had burned a nurse’s hand because she was rude to me. Now when Zach can’t enter the room which I successfully did with a binding spell; I don’t know how to cope with this new problem. Should I scare her away? Surely she’ll understand to get the hell out of my sight. Yes...That’s could be it. I’ll scare her away. I can’t have anyone in my life now.

Not even a cellmate...

That girl has arrived a few weeks ago. I thought she’ll be like other mental patients babbling like nuts. But she was completely strange. One would think she's mute like the way she doesn't even make a sound. She just stares like there is nothing. She sits all day near the window and observes. She even caught me using my powers but no word. I thought of scaring her away by taking a nurse's soul in front of her but she had no reaction. Even I becoming irritated asked her what the hell was her problem. But silence... I wonder what made her come into this place. I was arrested and later diagnosed as a mental patient for seeing my dead boyfriend. I sometimes think what Zach would say about her if he was here...

That girl spoke to me today. But what chilled me to bone was she didn’t say any greetings; she simply sat on my bed and said: “I know who you are.” What did she mean by that? So I said, “My name is Amy. It’s written in my hand. And you are obviously...1264?” When she was closed to me I noticed she didn’t have a name. She only had a number. What...was she a special case? "I know what you are. You are a Reaper.”

I closed the diary and sighed. The mirror in front of me was deflecting the desperation in my hazel eyes. After the meeting with Dalton, I couldn’t sleep at night. What has my life turned into? Just a few months ago I was helping with the regular case but now...Aaron had called me several times to demand when I was coming. But seriously? I don’t even know.

Can’t my life be normal like others?

Amy’s POV

I was clueless again where I was going. That day I met one of Keira’s friends and she told me what happened there. Well...This seems to run in the family. You do something rebel, the entire world is chasing you and in the end, you get sacrificed... at least Keira ran away with her life. How am I supposed to save my life? Can I even trust Danny? Questions were running inside my head like a tornado.

“Oh! Look what we’ve found!"

I jerked at the sudden commotion. In my own world, I was so engulfed that I didn’t notice I was running through the woods. And it was pitch black everywhere making it difficult to see who was there. But thanks to my enhanced vision, I saw there were 3 boys slurring towards me.

“What are you doing here, in middle of the night especially?”

I noticed they were drunk as hell. In school, I always feared drunken people but now...I was just seriously pissed off.

“Let me tell...She was waiting for us! Oh man, look how hot she is?”

And they laughed like a wolf looking at their prey. How idiot of them.

“Do you know who I am?” I asked them hissing but it just fueled their ego.

“Jennifer Laurence?” The black haired guy said smirking...

“I thought you all will go away when I’m clearly not interested. But you all are still here. Must be some big reason, Isn’t it?” I said and turned to the first guy. I had them under my control, good.

Their eyes perked up. Oh! They have no idea what it feels like to play with the preys before they are going to be nothing but ashes.

“You know the reason why you’re never going back from this forest?” Pause. “Cause first I’ll tear you from limb to limbs, then I’ll rip your souls out of your body when you will scream for my mercy and my! How much pleasure that will give me you have no idea.” I finished with their shocked expression.

I deliberately licked my lips to show them the fangs. Yes...When I first saw them I thought I’ve mistakenly become a vampire but when this rage to take souls comes out the canines grow naturally. I could see the pure fear in their eyes. Good... I love to see the fear in their eyes when I take their souls. It gives me a feeling of complete control. People fear death. But they don’t understand that no one can stop death, certainly not me.

"Come on baby, Don’t be afraid of me now. We have so much fun to do together.” I mocked at the boys standing in front of me.

“What...what are you?” The blond asked shattering every word.

“Me? I’m just a Reaper.”

Then came the screams of melody in my ears waking up the whole forest...

Harrison’s POV

"Did you see her?”

“No, should I?"

“Yes..no..You will not be able to bear it.”

“Why?”

“She is dead. She is gone just because you couldn’t accept her.”

“What..what are you..?”

“She is too far gone to return. And it’s your fault. I should’ve killed you when I had the chance. Well, Why not now? She is not here. Nobody is here. Just you and me. And now there will be only me!”

I jerked awake from the dream. It felt so real. The pain I felt, the rage, the empty sadness. There was a man in my dream. I couldn't see his face as he was blurred to me. But he was talking about someone’s death and blaming me. I realized I was sweating profoundly and coming down with a fever.

“Oh man. What are you doing?”

What the actual hell? Aaron was hovering over me and talking. But he was in New York, right?

“What are you doing here, Aaron?" I asked jumping out of the bed.

“Oh! You weren’t answering any calls. Cops were getting worried. They thought you’ve been kidnapped! I was worried sick about you!” He said but something wasn’t right. He never was this cheerful. Something was so not Aaron and most of all, he didn’t know my address. So how was he here?

“Well...next time knock before you come barging in my room,” I said getting my heart to work again and carefully looked at him for any change.

“How did you...” But before I finished my word Aaron just fainted. Could I get anymore sacred? Hearing the loud thump Mom came into my room and seeing Aaron she did her best to not jump on me right and then. What? Did she think I was the reason my friend fainted?

“What is going on here?” She asked me sternly.

“Mom, Aaron just fainted. He’ll be alright...I guess. But I wasn’t the reason, I swear.” I said hovering over him.

“Then how in hell there’s an unholy thing lurking around in your room?" She asked me with a pained face.

What?

“What are you talking about, mom. What unholy thing?” I asked before I could shut my mouth.

“This Aaron...his aura is anything but reflexes human. He has all shadowy blackness around him. Are you sure this is the friend you left in New York?" She said making it harder for me to believe.

Can my life get any worst...
