I know I should not have done this but I had to.

I’ve been secretly meeting the elder hunters. The other young hunters have been coming too, to provide food and water and build a shelter where they are trying to make use of the now-abandoned hunter’s building.

The Warrior brothers never fail to visit their father. They haven’t gone rogue yet like what the wolves had previously mentioned. I’ve been teaching them some training that I have learned in the pack and slowly educated the elders on how to shift back into their human form.

They have been coming closer to shifting, they just need a little more time. Not even my brothers know of my deeds, they don’t understand where I am coming from. They murdered our father, how could they let that slide so easily?

Though they have not mastered shifting, we are able to mind-link towards one another and they instructed me to steal the young alpha’s baby. I had no chance to even get near towards Lucifer’s twins without the protection of Valentine and Lucifer, practically guard dogs if you ask me, it was so frustrating.

But then I heard that Gabriel’s mate was pregnant and I had to take my chances. Gabriel never personally got to know me, what a fool he was to have believed every word that rolled out of my tongue. He didn’t even know who was his pack doctors?

I brought the baby, reaching the elder hunters. The baby started crying as I placed it onto the ground, it was a girl. Yes, I lied to Gabriel that it was a boy while in fact, it was indeed a little baby girl.

They started circling the baby in their wolf forms, growling lowly.

Out of a sudden, a white and black wolf appeared as they immediately started attacking the hunters.

What?

How did they know?

More wolves from the pack followed as they easily pinned the hunters down. I gasped as I tried to run, shifting into my brown wolf and fleeing from the place. There’s no mercy for betrayal in the pack. The punishment is either exile or execution depending on the level of treason.

I could hear one of the wolves following behind me, though its size was smaller than my frame, it was surely swift in its speed.

Within a few seconds, it pounced on me, tackling me onto the ground as it pinned me from above while I growled and struggled to be set free.

Once there was contact between us, sparks flew jolting my whole body while something inside my head whispered ’Mate”.

What?

I tried to sink my canines into its skin but the wolf was quick in dodging my attacks. Something inside me didn’t want to hurt the wolf but I was more than wanting to clasp my teeth into its flesh.

I turned my body around to make the wolf hit the ground. From what I could notice, the wolf had silver fur and it was on full defence mood but never on offence for some reason.

That didn’t stop me from the sudden urge to finally being able to sink my canines into its flesh as I bit its neck while it howled in pure agony, struggling to escape from my grasp while I could taste the blood oozing from it.

Stop! Something inside my head growled resulting me to retract my canines as the wolf beneath me transformed into its nude human self.

It was a girl?

The moment she howled; a grey wolf appeared growling.

Zachary.

Shit.

The girl beneath me cried in agony as blood continuously oozed down from her throat where I bit her, and something inside me whimpered while guilt spread throughout me.

As I tried to flee once more, I was surrounded.

Zachary ran towards the girl, checking if she was alright before targeting me, as he growled menacingly about to attack me.

Before he was able to do so, my brothers, Alvin and Simon shielded me from him though they were still in their human figure.

“Please don’t, we will take full responsibility for his actions.” They pleaded desperately.

“Shift now.” Lucifer walked in with black pants motioning towards me and Zachary, while Octavius strode in with shorts.

I and Zachary transformed into our human self while Octavius handed him some trousers and Simon handed me a ripped pair of shorts to cover.

Right after he placed it on, Zachary came stomping towards me while Octavius had to pull him back.

“How could you!” He yelled at me.

Gabriella tended over to the girl that I attacked, giving her some clothes.

“Don’t you dare look at her!” Zachary snarled at me.

“Zachary, calm down, she’s alright.” Octavius assures him.

“No! The little bastard marked my little sister! He imprinted on her!” Zachary bellowed and all eyes snapped towards my direction.

I marked her? What does that even mean?

His sister? Fuck!

I just stayed silent while Gabriella pushed the girl’s hair out of her neck and examined the bite.

Gabriella then looked at Lucifer before nodding her head as an affirmation to Zachary’s statement.

“Enough!” Lucifer instructed.

“You have no authority to order me.” Zachary turned towards Lucifer.

“How would you feel if it was your sister?” Zachary questioned Lucifer.

Lucifer glanced at Octavius for a moment. “I get a gist of it.” He mutters while Octavius rolled his eyes at him.

“We need to bring him to Valentine’s father to pass judgement.” Lucifer told.

“No! They’ll kill him.” The girl I bit suddenly voices out.

“Then so be it, he deserves the punishment for his crimes.” Zachary exclaimed.

“He’s my mate.” The girl commented.

What?

“Please, don’t let the alpha know.” The girl pleaded.

Why is she defending me?

Zachary sighed.

“He placed Gabriel’s child at risk, he will not let this go.” Zachary turned to his sister.

“I know I wouldn’t.” Lucifer responded to Zachary’s statement protectively.

“There must be some other way, we will share his punishment.” Simon spoke.

I felt a tinge of guilt creeping up as my brothers were protecting me as much as they could.

“No.” Lucifer started.

“Only he who commits the crime shall face the consequences.” He spoke.

“And your consequences will surely be severe.” Lucifer looks at me dead in the eye, clearly already having something in mind which I am not going to like.

Gabriel Zades P.O.V

It’s been a few days since the incident. Lucifer had gotten hold of that sly worm but I don’t understand why they haven’t passed a death penalty for his treason.

I gave my baby girl over to Lilith as she was crying out of hunger.

Though circumstances were rough, I keep my word that I will take full responsibility on her and Lilith would not have any except the essentials such as providing breast milk.

Right after she was done, I took a hold of the baby once more while Lilith pursed her lips, something obviously bothering her.

“Why are you doing this?” She asks.

“Doing what?” I questioned.

“Treating me like I’m some sort of milk machine.” She claims.

“You wanted no part on the baby, if I remember clearly, you wanted her gone.” I mentioned.

She gulped, frowning looking at me.

“Therefore, you have no right on her.” I said.
