Chapter 60 Echoes of Love

Valentine Winters P.O.V

“That was one way to spray it.” Lucifer faced me.

I scoffed.

“You asked for Lorraine’s help behind my back and you couldn’t tell me?” I asked.

“No one was supposed to know.” Lucifer stated.

“You’re not superman to go save the world.” I said.

“I know, but I’m responsible for putting her into that mess.” Lucifer speaks, about to turn away from facing me.

“You’re not going.” I told sternly, though it sounded more towards a command.

He stopped his tracks, turning back to face me.

“Or what?” He asks.

“I’ll fight you.” I promised while my eyes shifted to charcoal black and my voice was merged with my wolf’s one.

Lucifer scoffed, not taking me seriously.

With Lucifer being the new alpha now, I am now an official Luna, and being already born with Alpha genes, my wolf would share almost the same size, strength, speed and agility as his.

He took a couple of steps towards me, resulting me to move backwards and my back to hit the wall before he towered over me.

“All bark and no bite.” He smirked leaning down to press his lips against mine and I bit his bottom lip drawing blood making him wince in pain and retreat.

He touched his bleeding lip with his right-hand forefinger, observing his forefinger that had blood on it.

“You underestimate me.” I told.

His eyes shifted to black while his breathing deepened swirling with two emotions, anger and lust.

Lilith Ra’s P.O.V

“Took you long enough to bring them.” The lady that held me captive in the first place, says, while she was seated in her seat.

“I have a proposition.” Oz voices out.

The lady just raised her eyebrow at Oz to continue.

“I want the vampire.” He points towards Lorraine.

“In exchange.” He continued.

“I’ll be offering you a hybrid.” Oz smirks.

“Impossible.” The lady gasps as her eyes widen.

“No!” Lorraine shouts in protest.

“He’s real.” Oz smiles.

“Oh dear, what a treat.” The lady notes.

“Imagine what magical properties he possesses.” She thoughts.

“It’s a deal. She’s all yours.” The lady turns to Oz.

“I’m not something that can be owned.” Lorraine gritted.

“We’ll see now, won’t we?” Oz smirks.

Lorraine Warren P.O.V

I was harshly pushed into a room with my hands remaining cuffed whilst Oz entered the room with ease before shutting the door behind him with a flick of his finger.

He walked over and sat at the edge of the middle of his bed.

“Do you know what would look good right now?” He started.

“You.” He began as he waved his hand in a pushing motion that had me up against the wall opposite of him.

“Spread and tied.” He continued as the cuffs disappeared for a moment, while my hands and legs were spread before cuffed individually against the wall.

Why couldn’t I move?

I looked at him with a little fear in my eyes, looking at the power he held.

“Lastly-.” He smirked, slowly getting up from the bed and nearing my frame.

He looked me in the eyes before his eyes fell over the attire that I was wearing and he picked up his hand to slowly touch the material.

“Don’t you dare.” I warned, trying to break free, feeling completely helpless and weak.

He glared at me for a brief second before touching it and my dress disappeared, leaving me only in my inners, half-bare in front of him.

He snaked his right hand around my waist, causing a warm sensation to erupt wherever he touched.

“Why are you doing this to me?” I softly asked.

He brought his face closer to mines before letting his lips brush against my left ear.

“I’m just playing with what’s mine.” He says.

“I know you’re getting hungry too.” He noted leaning away to look into my eyes again.

“Drink my blood and within you’ll find the answer you’ve been searching for.” He confirms.

He exposed his neck towards me that had my fangs elongate.

“I’ve never tried a warlock’s blood before.” I confessed.

What if this was a trap?

“You’ll be fine. I promise.” He assures.

I slowly sank my fangs down on his throat and the moment the liquid hit, I started gulping in.

He tasted so good.

Before I could go any further, I was hit by another vision once more resulting in me to retract my fangs from his skin and face up.

I was brought back to reality after a few minutes.

“I know.” I said as I looked up to him.

I knew why Oz was doing the things that he was.
