Summary
Eva, along with her friends Kira and Lance, look into cases about missing people after Eva's parents disappear, discovering new abilities on the way. Eva discovers she is a synthetic- neither human nor robot- after her parents are abducted. Along with Kira, who doesn't (yet) know that she's a mutant of sorts, and Lance, their best friend, they decide to look into the cases of these missing people. However, after those people reappear, but... different, they realize there is more going on than they could imagine. And although the three may be split apart, nothing can stop them from coming back together to fight for humanity from a machine that wants it for itself.
