Elsen didn’t expect the Miller family to be so shameless. He couldn’t even remember how many phone numbers he had blocked. 

Noah was brazen. “Look, Mr. Frost, we have cooperated for so long. Ending it would affect us significantly. What can we do to change your mind, Mr. Frost?” 

Elsen couldn’t tolerate them but knew Noah wouldn’t give up. He stated an impossible condition. “If you can design another hit piece like the Wish collection, I’ll rescind the termination.” 

Noah agreed eagerly, “Sure, Mr. Frost. We will show you that we still can… Before he finished, Elsen hung up. Noah tried calling back but found himself blocked again. “Bastard. You’ll regret this next time,” Noah cursed. 

Noah had put the speakerphone on so Ella could hear. Gina had designed the Wish collection. However, they had already fallen out with her. 

Clearing her throat, Ella placed her hopes on Olivia. “I believe you can design something better After all, 

than that d you won first in the competition. Miller Jewels is depending on you.”“ 

Olivia’s smile didn’t reach her eyes. Just because the Wish collection sold well didn’t mean Gina’s design was good. Gina was a computer science major and knew nothing about design. Gabriel suggested, “Gina, let me drive you back.”

“What tone?” Gabriel lowered his 

gaze. 

Gabriel seemed sad again. Was his emotions so easily discernable? Gina wasn’t good at handling such situations. She spoke, “Forget it. Do whatever you want.” 

After getting in the car, Gina had Gabriel take her back to the same bus stop. When they reached, Gabriel asked, “Can you tell me your address?” 

“No,” Gina replied. 

Gabriel was somewhat hurt. But it didn’t matter. He was too anxious. Being too hasty might backfire. “Alright.” Gabriel asked, When will we meet again?” 

“That depends,” Gina answered. 

T’ll miss you. Gabriel looked unwilling to part from her. 

David sighed silently. Who would have known Gabriel would be so clingy? 

Gina’s face heated. Gabriel’s affectionate look jolted her too. 

After parting ways, Gabriel sat in the car and watched Gina disappear, He opened his phone and looked at the photos of

Gina he had secretly taken just now. She looked cute, like a bunny. 

Gabriel didn’t look up as he instructed David, ‘Drive.” 

The next day, Gina went to Trowell University. The school had arranged a new dormitory for them. However, Gina no longer needed it. She had only stayed there because of her family. 

Gina had returned to withdraw from the dormitory. Despite the crowd, Gina sensed someone was following her. She walked around a comer and, when the footsteps approached, stepped out. 

Mason almost bumped into Gina. He jumped and fell. 

Mason still had bruises last time. Was he begging for another beating? 

Gina looked at Mason and warned, ‘Don’t follow me.”

Mason swallowed in fear. “Gina, I’m not, I… I have something to tell you.” 

“Talk.” Gina ordered. 

Mason took out an invitation with trembling hands. “Miss Olivia told me to give it to you.” 

Gina glanced at it. It was the invitation to the engagement party. She raised an eyebrow and smiled, recalling the taunting message Olivia sent her that day, urging her to attend. ‘Isn’t Mason Ethan’s lackey? Why is he listening to Olivia? But Mason’s name sounds.familiar, she thought. 

Eventually, realization dawned on Gina. She took the invitation. “Get lost.” 

“Yes, madam!” Mason got up and fled. 

Gina pocketed the invitation and headed toward the office building. 

Someone called out to her. “Ginal” 

Gina turned to see the smiling Aria. Aria spoke, “I haven’t seen you for days.” Aria knew Gina was a computer science major and had tried to find Gina several times, but did not see Gina around. ‘Perhaps she has something else on, Aria thought. “Are you going to class?” 

“No. I’m checking out of the dormitory, Gina replied. 

“Are you planning to rent a plate outside? Have you found one? Do you need help?” Aria offered warmly. 

“No need. I’ve already found one,” Gina told her. 

“Oh… Aria pursed her lips. “How about I accompany you to check out?” She already considered Cina as a friend. 

“Sure. Although Gina was used to being alone and appeared unsociable, it was because those who came close to her usually had hidden agendas. 

But Aria was different. Gina could sense Aria sincerely wanted to be her friend.
